Crystalline Refraction

So this comes from the Nukara Shield, right? Curious if anyone else has noticed that all you need to do is put these shields on your shuttle to gain the Crystalline Refraction proc, and at that, it seems to do incredibly increased damage when procing. So, how many of you have been having fun with this for the past 6 weeks?

    Lol...okay, that's just bad. Had to buy a shuttle for my guy with the Nukara 3pc...but yeah, removed the shield - buff disappeared - added the shield to the shuttle...the buff appeared again. /facepalm

    Does the same thing happen with the Solanae shield? What about other shields and their various procs? Dyson? KHG? Etc, etc, etc...meh.

    lol. never did grind that set, haven't noticed any other sets doing that though, and ive had others stored on shuttles

    tested it with everything that I had available, and I could only get it to work with the Nukara Shield... thank god, last thing we need is people running around with ResA and ResB, lol.

    And the worst thing is... you don't need a shuttle. It's so f*** random -_-"
    I'm trying to remove that proc in all possible ways, but nothing to do. Already discussed with other members of opvp and already reported the bug, no results so far :(

    That bug has been reported for weeks now by multiple people.

    Cryptics inaction regarding bugs is legendary.

    Good thing: In most cases, people choose a very visible shield combo (for example, Fleet Shield Buffs + Crystalline Refraction) that isn't possible to run under normal circumstances.

    Bad Thing: One guy I approached insisted he put his Nukara Shield into the bank and that he does not have said shield equipped on his shuttle. At first I thought he was just being dishonest. But now, one of my toons has that Refraction Buff activated all the time and I was unable to remove that buff so far (It's a PvE farm toon, not being used in PvP). So, the problem seems to get worse.

    Have to wonder how it's even possible that something like this can happen in their code.

    Way back there was same shuttle bug with one of the ROM consoles. I forget which one and no idea if its ever been fixed.
    There the a2b cooldowning aegis 3 piece, dkora emp and dominion consoles...they need to get fixing.

    I keep my Nukara shield on my ship. I love it, and I can do THIS without any exploits/hax :D :P

    lol... it's active here for quite some time now as well. didn't do anything but flew my hirogen-scort with nukara stuff some time ago :(. now it's there on any ship i fly. any idea how to get rid off it?

    edit: not on all ships/builds. strange ^^ :(...

    The only way to get rid of it completely is to delete the shield. Btw. it has nothing to do with the shuttle in the first place. You only need to equip the shield on any ship you fly and take it to space. Once you did that the bug is able to occur randomly, or it even remains all the time....even if you never fly that ship or the shield itself ever again. So the bug activates the first time you hit space with a ship, that has the shield equipped. It doesn't even matter if you put the shield to your Inventory, Bank, Account Bank or on a different Starship.

    BUT it occours randomly under these conditions, all that happend was just the bug being activated. And that's where the problem with the shuttle begins, because if equipped on the shuttle the proc is guaranteed and the bug doesn't show up randomly anymore.

    Worst thing: You can't even blaim people with fleet shields and nukara proc because their only "fault" is that they just crafted the shield once and tested it in space, and no one has any prove that said person has the shield on his/her shuttle :(
