About New Aegis set?

I wish it came with a warp core that you could craft. But since it doesn't which core type would be best used for this set? I would think one that buffs up shields.

Since there are no set bonuses you could benefit from, pretty much any that works for your ship's build.

    My guideline would probably be:

If you use a Cruiser or Escort, you could probably benefit most from a Warp Core that gives your shields extra power from weapons, and one that adds bonus power and max power to shields.

If you use a Science Vessel but regularly run high weapon power, something that give bonus aux for weapon power may be best.
If you use a Science Vessel that primarily runs high aux (Vesta with Aux cannons for example), you may want to boost shields, and get something that boosts your Aux.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

I would tend to W->A, since you get shieldpower from emergency power to shields (which is a must have if you want a tanky build) and can normally max it out with that. So more aux for more heal.

For torpbombers and Vestas with Auxcannons, A->X is better.
I usually use Hyper-charged ones with W->A, since W is overcapped and S easily done with EptS (though most ships of mine go with 100 shieldpower, I dont need more to not die), so I get a nice damage surplus from Nukara T4 and of course better heals.
