Is it possible to use Sabotage Probe on a cross-faction A-M core vessel on a Romulan captain now? Last I heard, all Romulan C-Store consoles were limited to Warbirds, has this console been changed to compatible with A-M core ships to reflect that Feds and KDF can use them? If not, is it possible to open your alliance's (Federation) or (Klingon) box and use that on a non-Warbird?
I'm interested in what the future might hold for Rom capts with cross-faction ships, particularly if the large number of people speculating that the Valdore console might be next are right.

Going to go out on a limb and say the Rom version is still as originally made. And you can't get the new lockbox version. Just like feds can't get the point defense turret from the lock box and either have it before captain level or avoid buying the c-store escort it comes on.

Interesting that the Rom Sabotage Probe from the Dhelan can now be used on any ship and the Singularity Inverter from the Dhael can be used on any Warbird.

So all Warbirds can now get the 2-Piece bonus.
Interesting indeed. What's the two piece bonus,as STOWiki doesn't have it listed?

This cross-faction pack changes the rules a bit. As a Romulan, you can take either the Fed or KDF console from at least the (Romulan) pack, instead of having to pick up your alliance's C-Store ship for one of them. On top of that there's the faction appended in parentheses to the boxes I've seen on the Exchange, not sure if that limits what can come out and/or who can open it.
Tried to open a (Klingon) pack on my Klingon-Allied Romulan, menu came up for the Sabotage Probe or the Fed console, but it would come with the old 'Class requirements not met' fly-by on trying to grab either option.

I tested this yesterday. The sabotage probe's popup no longer lists Dhelan and Dhael varients as requirements, although the extended info page still does. I was able to mount it on my Rom Dyson DSD and use it, and was also able to mount it on my Obelisk carrier with the M/AM warp core.

Actually the T5 ship consoles are usually restricted to own ships, n/m the power plant
This is the real change, a T5 ship console that is not bound to a specific ship.

+5 shield power and up to +10 bonus defense (scales with speed, max of 10)
Confirmed.
I was able to remove the sabotage probe from my Dhelan and place it on my Obelisk. That means you can stack the "Defensive System" set with another ship's set i.e. Enhanced Projectile Potency set.

I just got a cross-faction lockbox that offered two items:
Acecton Assimilator and Sabotage Probe.
Unfortunately, the 'Sabotage Probe' cannot be chosen because it's listed as 'Federation Only' (my Rom is Federation).
Which is kinda flat out stupid since Feds can't use the Singularity Inversion module.
Devs being stupid, as usual.
Ah, you need the (Romulan) pack to get anything, you seem to be trying to open a (Federation) pack. Certainly an odd and confusing way to go about it with having three faction-limited cross-faction packs, instead of just bringing up the relevant choices based on faction opened on.

Wait, so even what faction you get when opening the boxes is random? This so you have to sell these extras on the exchange and pray you can get one for your faction?

I haven't gotten one from a box as of yet, but it should be for whatever faction you open the lockbox on. I'm presuming that 'nachtfangen' bought a pack off the exchange, or got one on a Fed char and passed it to a Romulan char. I'm sure we would've heard a lot more complaining by now if (faction) was random.

Is this something you've tested, BTW?
