Any chance of the special dilithium store romulan plasma weapons making a return either with crafting, or somewhere else like romulan rep?

Like Plasma Split beam and Repeater pistols, Piercing beam and Wide beam rifles, Long Range assault miniguns or Charged burst assaults?
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

    Hawk,

looks like you guys have the crafting situation well in hand, the dilithium additions to the open

zones was a nice touch thanks for that. What honestly worries me however, is the current

functionality of the Doff UI. Several features must be added to make it user friendly and not as

    much of a head scratcher.

    >> Filters for the "loose" roster doffs, these should continue to include what is available on Holo,

    --species
    --profession
    --rarity
    --traits both with and without

    >> Sidebar needs to have the filters as well for when selecting doffs for the current mission.

(scrolling through long lists of unsorted doffs is frustrating and sloppy)

    > After a doff is selected from the "sidebar" list is should be removed from the list, as some

players have duplicates, this gets confusing as you add and remove the same doff to the

same slot over and over since it just sits in the list.

    >> Over all reduction in size, it feels bulky and cumbersome, with excessive scrolling.

The Other Large Issue, is the loss of the Dept. Heads Tab that was available inside the cluster

map. This was effectively a HUGE nerf to the opportunity for players to work colony chains

reducing the availability by 50% or more when combined with the lost of Social Bridge Invites from

    other players.

The issue with the loss of the clusters really does need to be addressed in some fashion to bring

these assignments back to the previous levels of availability. Also, friendly reminder, ALOT of chain

assignments are/were tied to these clusters, (specifically Cardassian space), even some not chained

assignments could only be found there, such as Deliver Tech to Gamma Quadrant Allies (previously

only available via Tact/Sec Dept Head). What is the current fate of these assignments?

Lastly, I'm assuming that the numeric rewards on Tribble currently are place holders and the correct

info will be added as the build gets further along, as there are several discrepancies between

payouts on Holo and payouts on Tribble. Some assignments also have the incorrect requirements

listed, such as Confiscate Contraband from Crew, listed 1 Geologist, 1 Quartermaster and 2 Security

, after opening the assignment, it only really needed 2 security.

Looking forward to the next patch to enjoy the improvements.

id love for the doffing end of 9.5 to be un****ed too. crafting revamp and all is very welcome, but not at the huge expense to doffing that it has thus far appeared to be. its actually pretty worrying that the impact to doffing; colony chains, cell/tufflis, alt doffing, etc isnt even on anybodys radar. if doffing goes live as-is i can only surmise that cryptic wished to intentionally make doffing miserable.

Yes, but not until I get time to go through and make sure they all work well and are balanced. :)

What about all the Advanced Hangar Pets which are only accessible through the Dilithium store?

Honestly, I'm not the right person to ask. Logistics and scheduling have necessitated them not being done yet, would be my guess - but as much as I try to give you guys the status of things we've talked about, if I'm not personally working on it, I'm just passing on second-hand information and can't talk authoritatively about timetables or schedule.

If they're not ready for S9.5, please let them know it would be nice if they added them into the game before October/November once they are ready. Waiting until the next major release for them would suck.

I agree. It looks like the doffing revamp is intentionally done to slow players down from acquiring the rare/ very rare doffs . . . Free doffs that is. We can always buy doffs!

Then please for the love of God can we get a response from someone that does know a little more information? Its been almost 6 months since they were announced and we need a little better of an explanation than this. Science ships are still lagging horribly in usefulness when compared to Escorts and Cruisers, and the Secondary Deflectors were the only things giving us Science captains some hope.

glad to hear that. just hope it wont take as long as secondary deflectors have, things like this get pushed off indefinetly, these have needed attention since LOR

main issues i recall with them are

-repeater pistol aim mode is visually buged

-repeater pistol secondary doesn't work the same as the rifle for some reason

    -repeater rifle has pistol range

-charge up assault need a total redo on its ammo system, like draining much more per shot, but recharging much faster, or not having the regular shots drain any. it takes forever to recharge, your forced to swap to something else for the rest of the fight, and it doesn't recharge when unequipped

Thank you, it will be good to still have them!

YES! A response I can live with! Thank you. Please make it quick is all I ask. :D

Any possibility of (the idea I've been pushing) getting them in the loot tables?

-repeater pistol aim mode is visually buged

Yes, you look pretty strange using this weapon... Left hand on left leg turned in an awkward position usually, but I've also seen it put the left hand overlapping the right hand on the weapon...

-repeater pistol secondary doesn't work the same as the rifle for some reason

Assuming you mean the primary, and I thought this was working as intended? The rifle deals lower continuous damage, while the pistol deals higher burst damage. The pistol's secondary works more like the rifle.

    -repeater rifle has pistol range

Piercing beam rifle. I was under the assumption this was for balance purposes? The normal rifle types (and wide beam) get longer range, but this thing can fire continuously...if it's unintentional, it should probably stay anyway

    Responses in bold.

I'm so glad there's hope for these, I would've hated to see them become unavailable permanently. Curious what kind of balancing will be done to them:

I know the piercing beam is one of the more unique weapons in the game, but it actually doesn't seem all that imbalanced to me.
The repeater pistol's secondary is pretty ridiculous, but it can't be that far off from a compression pistol, it just uses an ammo mechanic instead of a fixed recharge.
The wide/split stuff is literally turning normal pistols into rifles and vice-versa, so I can't see those being that far off, either.
I can't say anything about the assault types because I just don't use the minigun-type assault weapons in this game. They look silly.

And all of them will be underperforming^^
Would have been far simpler to just make a second deflector slot and let ppl use already implementated real deflectors. This would give Sciships an edge.

The Secondary Deflectors were supposed to offer different bonuses than the primaries. Maybe it could be done if they halved the bonuses or something, but it wouldn't actually be what was advertised.

I will never stop being endlessly pissed at them for altering the normal DOFF UI, it was unnecessary and a waste of a finely tuned interface. But if they have to change it and apparently they feel they do, at least get it up to a hundred percent the functionality of the old one.

So basically buy up as many piercing beam rifles as you can now because if they ever come again they won't be under the "super weapon" category. :P

These are some nice concepts at why I somewhat feel compelled to play something else instead of them giving me the feeling of wanting to play their game more. I've just gotten to the point to where when I log in I don't really *need* anything more that is in the game now but on the same token all I really do after all that is do some doffing and log out. So if they are going to TRIBBLE that up I probally won't even want to do that anymore lol.
