Whilst it may seem trivial to some, could we possibly have the option to delete a costume slot please? I don't need to write anymore here, cause my request can't be any simpler. So yeah, that's me done!
Why would Cryptic intentionally put in a way to have even more people complaining "I bought the _____ in the C-Store and then deleted it by accident. Please fix!"
Really, if you don't want to use a slot, don't. If there is a costume there you don't like, change it.
Edit: Also, if you "don't need to write anymore here" why did you go on for two more sentances, yet give us no idea why this would be a good idea? lol

Wow. Do you even understand what deleting a costume slot means?
Think "deleting a ship loadout." None of your possessions are deleted, only the stored list of which items get loaded onto a ship when you restore that loadout. Just deleting a costume SLOT would only erase its contents, freeing that position up for use.
Or more to the point, being able to "reset" those KDF slots that constantly glitch into unusability because...you know...KDF.

As already stated here by aloishammer, I believe you (bergins) to be mistaken. Why would people complain about a costume slot removal? They don't lose anything! They can go back and create another costume slot at will. Once costumes are unlocked (via lobi/c-store) that's a permanent unlock.

Summed up pretty well here. KDF costumes get glitched all the time. If they can't fix it (it's been several years now) giving us the option to delete and start over would solve the problem.
Dammit People!!!!! Cryptic wants to sell costume slots not make it where when you get tired of 1 you can reuse it. Plus with all the glitches some slots are forfited. Making the grin on Cryptics mouth that much more crooked. Its not going to happen.

When you have the ability to buy costume slots in the C-Store, deleting costume slots would be the opposite. Since this is apparently not what the OP meant, perhaps they should have said so in the OP rather than explicitly state they were not going to say more. At least call it what it is: perhaps "Resetting Costume Slots."

What if the thread were titled "Deleting Ship Slots"? The hypothetical OP says "I want to be able to delete ship slots. That's all I'm gonna say about that." Would you defend them when it turns out they wanted the ability to dismiss ships? (Aside from the fact that is an option already...) Would you ridicule someone who actually thought that they wanted to be able to delete ship slots, as stated in the OP?
Or more to the point, being able to "reset" those KDF slots that constantly glitch into unusability because...you know...KDF.
I recognize the KDF has kinda gotten the shaft, I recognized this when I first started playing this game, I chose to not play victim and not play KDF. You may not have cosen that, but it does not give you the right to jump down the throat of someone who is responding to what was, as written in the OP, a silly request.
The ability to Reset Costume Slots, that I could get behind...

So you're basically blaming the OP for your inability to figure out what was being talked about?
Yes and no. Because of the costume slot bug, I have several characters with 8 or 9 costume slots. My account has only 4 slots and I have 1 fleet slot. Those extra slots are ghosts slots. They are there, but you cannot use them. They show up in the drop down menu and are an annoyance.
Yes I would like to be able to delete those. Things just look smoother. But if I can delete my slots, any player can delete his or hers, ghost slots or non-ghost, real active slots and that is cry, cry, cry when that happens.
I know what my ghost slots are, but how can Cryptic know? Also, you cannot rename them, so you even cannot mark them as such and that Cryptic destroys them with a patch. Some high level intelectual thinking is what we need here to get rid of them.
So you're basically blaming the OP for your inability to figure out what was being talked about?
Yeah, totally the OP's fault.
And that's just incredible hubris right there. It's always upon the writer, if he/she wishes to convey a thought, to do so in a clear and concise manner. It's not the reader's 'fault' if the writer fails to do so.
The ability to reset a costume slot to default would be useful, but wouldn't it be better if they just used that time to fix the glitch in the first place so you didn't need to? What's needed is just for Cryptic to really put the time/effort in to address the problem.
verb (used with object), deleted, deleting. to strike out or remove (something written or printed); cancel; erase; expunge.
Delete costume slots = delete.. vanish.. make it gone...
verb (used with object), reset, resetting. 1.
to set again: to reset an alarm clock.
2.
to set back the odometer on (an auto or other vehicle) to a lower reading: a used-car dealer charged with resetting his cars.
So you're basically blaming the OP for your inability to figure out what was being talked about?
Yeah, totally the OP's fault.
Yes. Yes I am. I was unable to discern what the OP was talking about because:
A. They used language that did not convey what they wanted to say and then
B. Explicitly stated that they were not going to explain the request.
So, yes. I am absoutely blaming the OP for my inability to comprehend what they wanted. I apologize for my lacking the ability to read minds. My Cerebral-Read-O-Matic 2000 is on the fritz, I'm still waiting for part #25.15.21 and #10.05.18.11 to come in from Ceaser's Code Breaking Equipment, LTD.

Honestly, when I wrote the OP I thought (wrongly I might add) that people would know exactly what I was referring to. Apparently I was mistaken in that assessment.
