I had this thought when I was on my 25th click of 54 for converting a single crafted resource from the old system to the new system. Why in the world isn't there a "convert all" option for materials? I would say if this material conversion is one time and permanent, Cryptic/ Perfect World should give two options serious thought for inclusion in the season 9.5 rollout; either a one time convert all option where a player can double click on a stack of materials in their bank and either convert that entire stack at once or a background task that converts materials over and notifies users when it is done.
If neither of those are feasible (and this is where the "other" comes in). How about removing the constant (and in my opinion) annoying verification dialog for every click and convert? Can you imagine how much time some people could be spending trying to convert resources over one at a time having to click "yes I want to convert" on every single item under every single type of material. That can be a time and interest killer. The idea could also be applied to the summer and winter event favors.
You can convert them per 100 materials at a time, no need for single clicks.
Cryptic argued against an automatic conversion script due to the load on the servers it gives and the server crashes that come with it.
Why won't cryptic do what other mmos do in this situation - auto conversion in the form of value replacement (a->b). There is no extra server load, as it's done before server even comes back online. It's not like anyone have uses for the now useless dead end old traces.

Thanks for the tip but that is still a pain in the butt for a one-off conversion.
