Power levels

I've heard that it's possible to have all power levels at 90 or above. How? I have an obelisk warp core for the AP boost, is it possible with that warp core? Is it the skills?

It's pretty much Plasmonic leech, fleet cores, full uptime on 2x EPtX abilities, and skill spec that gets most players there.

    #1) Be an Engineer
#2) DO NOT be a Romulan Republic Character
#3) Spec your skill points wisely
#4) Fleet Warp Cores are your friend

My Fleet Assault Cruiser Refit Runs a steady:
    124/100 Weapons
    97/70 Shield
    36/15 Engine
    39/15 Auxiliary

Now, I have EptW I and EptS III as well as Aux2Bat I to counter the power surge from the weapons firing

Something else to remember, go in a manually play with the power sliders (DON'T use the defaults)

Bunch of flow caps with plasmonic leech, batteries, warp core engineer, 2 eptx at global. I don't think there's any other readily available methods for boosting power. Elite cores help as well but you were wondering without it

Just plasmonic leech. That is the only thing i use in my Guramba. My weapons power is 125 / 95 and my other power levels are about 90-100+ all the time. I dont use any special skill or special warp core. I am a pure tactical character.

Doesn't the guramba lance have some sort of leech effect? And you don't use eptw/epts/epte/elite fleet warp core? Dude your missing out

Not as wrong as you think. I have a screen shot somewhere of Nappa hanging out on DS9.

Fleet core and leech - expensive but no zen required.
Various consoles and rep space sets have extra power
Universal consoles: zero point an extra 1.8 for all sub systems; assimilated +5 weapon power, nukara +5 shield, dyson and undine have two +3 power and other bonuses each; various engines + lobi stuf
EPTX boff abilities, boosted by EPS skill, doff, other doff and engineer trait
energy siphon ability - as with other energy drain abilities what you get is directly influenced by the skill points in flow caps
    cruiser weapon efficiency command
power skills for weapons, engine, shield and aux - expensive skills in your build but there if you want
Warp core potential and warp core efficiency skills
Check boffs, some can give +25 to a system under certain circumstances.

Remember that any auxto power will take the aux power

And what will give me a fleet warp core besides the effects of the plasmonic leech?? the whole point is not to be worried about having low power levels in any system. Well, i achieve that just using plasmonic leech. Meh, maybe i dont know how it works exactly, but i think i get it..

Or maybe the fleet warp cores gives you more weapons power settings allocation?? (if thats the case, yes i will adquire one asap...).

And i am noob about the guramba javelin.. i dunno exactly what you mean :) but anyways, i barely use it. And i dont think it has any leech effect, since the way the javeling works, it will be stupid to give it any sideffect feature. But again, im not sure.

Leach is an universal console that leaches power from your target with energy weapons. Its really overpowered, i think and i have it. Its effected by your flow capacitors skill. With my flow caps i drain between (2 no flow cap consoles) and (2.4 with 2 rare mx xi consoles) per beam/cannon not counting their resistance to drain. Thats 12-14 (half if they maxed their counter skill) energy times 4(all systems) i can zap from them in 1 beam broadside. It really should have be a proc chance to make it balance.

I run 2 drain builds but my klingon eng in a Vo'que carrier 2 BOP hangers is my fav. I run a mirror nova but its only real leach is siphon the rest are drains. rift/poleron weapons/and the under utilized target subsystems.

    - energy settings are balanced about 60/60/40/60 with no boosts added 87/80/45/81 as i enter battle alone.
    - Breen set (till i get better) gives a free energy siphon with 3 piece.
    - 5 Disrupters mx xi rare and cutting beam aft.
    Energy/Drain Skills
    - EPS transfer +30 power all systems for 30 seconds
    - power to weapons 1 and power to shields 1 +20 power 10 seconds.
    - breen siphon takes 30, but gives only 14 to all.
    - plasmonic leach from Teir 3 1000 zen ship kling only. Feds have to get lockbox or exchange for millions.

Leach gives this ship battle power levels of 125/125/90/135 near constant if i have a target to drain and i am not being counter drained. I very rarely use my EPS transfer after the initial buff and attack. I LOVE i can throw it to a team member. What can some little fed/kling escort can do with that power is a lot when i can back it up with extend shields, transfer shields, hazards, and aux2sif.. With leach and miracle worker for myself i can do that buff all at once and make some escorts day.

Grind and get the shield from once of the reps if you dont want to pay the price for leach, it does the same but drains their power when they attack you, effecivly countering leach.

If you want to keep power up without leach you need an eng character and some tinkering. You can keep them all close with maxed gear, and boff/doff skills. But its really a shame that all that and you are still looking at a uphill battles against someone with leach, when they probably have equally powerful gear/doffs with the leach. Think.. you buff all up and attack, and he fires... and takes your buff for himself with just firing his weapons... he hasn't event used an ability.

I have plasmonic leech, and I have 6 point in warp coil I believe, and only 1 point in the skill that gives power to low subsistems.

If you spec skill points into warp core potential, warp core efficiency (which boosts subysstems that have low power setting), and each of the 4 power subsystems, you'll be running around with very high power levels on everything all the time.

Then add fleet dil mine core for additional power to the low subsystems, and get one with [SEP] and you'll get even moar power to engines.

Engineer profession also has the ability to buff all power on every EPtX activation, which will raise your baseline even more.

Plasmonic Leech gives a buff when you are shooting at stuff. MACO shield gives a buff when you are getting shot at. Warp Core DOFF that has a chance to boost power on EPtX will give a big kick but its random.
Engineer profession also has the "EPS" inherent ability which gives a a large buff to all subsystems once every 2 min.

No. The G is set up so that when it is in siege mode it "leeches" to charge up the lance, but that power is NOT directed to subsystems. In siege mode, it gets *additional* bonus power to its systems though. So it does have more power in systems than most other ships when expanded.

The G does not have jack for engineering officer seats. It has 3 slots total across 2 low tier officers. So you might have EPW X 1 at rank 1 or something + a hull heal. Fleet warp core, agreed.
