Can anyone give me a good comparison between fluidic antiproton dual heavy cannons, and fleet advanced antiproton dual heavy cannons? Visual feedback as well please. I am making a critical chance build.
I can't give you a comparison, but I can tell you right off the bat that the fleet AP's will probably perform better overall, especially for a crit build.

Scorpius - Zelbinion Mk II

And in exchange for crit, you get to knock enemy further away so that you do less dmg. Nice.:D
There's hoping one day Cryptic would release a weapon that sucks you in. Come'ere so I can kill you buttar!
Well it's a Critical-maneuverability hybrid, so if I move him away I'm essentially keeping him where I want as long as I keep following him., I mean that's a good advantage with a cannon build, with a small targetting arc, if the target is in front of you it can't get behind you

If you don't PVP, then Fleet Advanced AP's should deliver better numbers since PVE opponents rarely ever use shield buffs, so there is little need for Fluidic AP shield-bypass mechanics and target speed-reduction.
You could replace the torpedoes with a DHC + turret or kinetic cutting beam depending on what you want to do. I went the torpedo route mainly to test Omega kinetic sheering and add Dyson Munitions 2-piece +3 crit bonus. A HYT3 Bio-molecular torpedo packs a punch with occasional 50k+ hits.
IS there a video where I can see fluidic AP? Cause I'm kinda curious to see the difference.
Fluidic AP beams and cannon bolts have a yellowish gold color, much like spiral wave disruptors, but AP fluidic arrays have a more eratic beam pattern. I can demo these once I get home, but it will not be for another 3+ hours.

That would be awesome if you could do that, I'm currently making my last build ever, and it's extremely expensive, so if I could avoid buying stuff just to see it sparkle you'd be doing me a great favor! Also regular antiproton is white and red right?

I use the Fluidic AP Cannon ARC-180 also Fluidic AP Dual Heavy Cannons ARC - 45 need to have Accuracy with these otherwise they fly over the place. When used with Console - Tactical - Prefire Chamber XII Rate or Very Rare. Again these cut through shields at 100% where as the stock AP only does 40%. Voth ones cost too much on Exchange but I've notice the price has dropped. In all the Fluidic AP's Rock!
Right now found something better to work with. But if you need Cannons Fluidic will be the way to go for now.
I also got stock AP as turret which does 360 degree firing but to me still the damage rate still not effective. 8742 takes a lot to take them down though. AP Dual Beams Bank even at over-burst does do a lot of damage though rip through the shields like paper!

Hmm, wonder why there are no graviton weapons? IE beams cannons etc. Small chance to pull toward the firer and slow.

I've been using fluidic AP for a while, and compared to fleet AP's, they hold up well on their own.
1) When Fluidic AP's proc, they hit with shield-ignoring kinetic damage.
2) They knock ships out of their current top speed, thereby reducing defense and increasing damage dealt.
3) Their knock-back distance is minimal when running zero graviton generator skills.
4) Unlike Fleet AP's, they can run [Acc] [Crtd] [CrtH] stats together for better rounded performance.
Opponents tend to go down faster whenever I use fluidic AP's over fleet AP's in PVP.

I've used both fluidic AP full-beam and full-cannon Nicor builds, and both worked well:

Cannons + Torps - http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/skillplanner/?build=sharnicor003_0

Noo, it's this ugly red.

Time will only tell!
