So I was watching the original Total Recall (with Arnold Schwarzenegger) and I noticed that the police captain on Mars was played by Mark Alaimo (Gul Dukat). I also noticed that the robotic taxi driver was voiced by Robert Picardo (The Doctor EMH). I also saw the woman who plays Sonya Gomez.
What other Trek Actors have been in other movies?
BTW I saw Patrick Steuart in Star Trek First Contact:P.
Robert Picardo - gremlins 2
Robert Duncan McNeil - masters of the universe
Patrick Stewart - XMen, Moby Nick, Dune
Tim Russ - live free or die hard
Jeri Ryan - Down with Love
Colm Meaney has a prominent, but secondary role in Far and Away.
Gates McFadden plays Jack Ryan's wife in The Hunt for Red October.
DeForest Kelly was an Earp in one of the great westerns, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. Which is ironic since he was back at the "O.K. Corral" facing off against the "Earps" for the "Spectre of the Gun" episode of Star Trek.
Alexander Siddig shows up in Vertical Limit and the dragon-infested Reign of Fire. (I'm still waiting for the day someone makes a movie with Siddig and James Callis playing brothers, or characters in a case of mistaken identity)
Rene Auberjonois seems to pop up all over, but some notable performances were in The Little Mermaid (voice of Chef Louis), and The Patriot. He also had a voice in the animated Cats Can't Dance which had Scott Bakula in the lead role.
...Oh, baby, you know, I've really got to leave you / Oh, I can hear it callin 'me / I said don't you hear it callin' me the way it used to do?...
- Anne Bredon
But the winner, I think, is Kate Mulgrew somehow doing the narration to this.
You might have me there.

When TNG came out, Patrick Stewart in my eyes was "That dude from Dune & Excalibur."
William Shatner's been in a lot of stuff outside Trek. I still remember his early-mid 80s cop TV show "T.J. Hooker." Not to mention his Twilight Zone episode before he did Star Trek.
Kate Mulgrew in Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins
Robert Picardo in Inner Space
Terry Farrell in Back to School
Colm Meaney in Con Air
Armin Shimerman in Atlas Shrugged
Ethan Phillips in Star Trek: First Contact (does that count? haha)
Nicole de Boer- Stargate Atlantis
Armin Shimmerman- Buffy the Vampire slayer
Marina Sirtis- Lady Benezia in Mass Effect
"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."
-Lord Commander Solar Macharius
But the winner, I think, is Kate Mulgrew somehow doing the narration to this.
"Clever editing"? I'm not sure the misrepresented parties' desire to ignore it and let it thereby die is really going to succeed. It will be around for years as a curiosity. The parties whose trust was abused should get together and publish a work in counterpoint. Let it go viral on YouTube.
Back on thread subject:
Ethan Phillips and Robert Picardo were both in Wagon's East, the movie that John Candy died making.
Ethan Phillips was also in The Man Without A Face, and had a turn as the hapless security guard in The Shadow.
Now for the embarrassing movie, Ethan was also in the TV movie Arachnoquake.
Marc Alaimo was also in The Last Starfighter. He was the Zandozan in human form.
Transformers: The Movie counts, so Michale Bell (Dinobot Swoop), ST III's "Spock scream" guy, Frank Welker (Megatron, Scrapper, Soundwave, Rumble & Frenzy), as well as Roger C. Carmel (Cyclonus) and Nimoy (Galvatron).
Brent Spiner - Dr. Brackish Okun, Independence Day
Rene Auberjonois - Father Mulcahey, MASH (movie)
Patrick Stewart - Dr. Armstrong, Lifeforce (If you like bad movies, this is definitely one you should watch)
Colm Meaney - Gene, Layer Cake (If you like good movies, this is one you should watch)
Colm Meaney's portrayal in the AMC Western "Hell On Wheels" is pretty awesome too.
He pulls off a great villainous robber baron.
to be fair he always has been good at the baddie role when ever he gets the chance, too bad he wasnt used to better effect on stargate atlantis, but there are other films and such he has done.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
To be honest I've not been keeping track on the movies but I have been keeping track of
some that have been doing voice acting. In recent years Kate Mulgrew / Capt. Janeway has been doing a lot of voice acting for BioWare as Flemeth in the Dragon Age game franshise.
Comments
He played BG, one of the kidnapper/robbers if I remember correctly.
Robert Duncan McNeil - masters of the universe
Patrick Stewart - XMen, Moby Nick, Dune

Jeri Ryan - Down with Love
The space ship called the Thunder Road built out of a tilt a whirl...

Robert Picardo had a prominent role in Megashark vs. Crocosaurus
I win.

Sorry, but no, being in that just wins Robert Picardo more nerd cred.
Patrick Stewart was in such forgettable 90's gems as Safe House and Masterminds.
Brent Spiner was in Dana Carvey's career kiss of death, The Master of Disguise.
But the winner, I think, is Kate Mulgrew somehow doing the narration to this.
yes tuvok was a spaceball
Brent Spiner was also in Independance Day
I thought WoW's forums had angry elitist snobs, but I never could have imagined the level STO forums has.

Tom Hardy was in that one, too.
Thank you.:D
Just wait until I make a "JJ Wars: the Lensflare Strikes Back" signature when the new Star Wars movie comes out.
