If you're running high aux - definitely Transfer shield strength.

Great heal and huge shield damage resistance buff.

On escorts just the stardard EPTS prolly, since the extra shield power helps out really much.

Oh, and RSP3 can be really useful as well - esp. with a Fabrication Engineer DOFF that increases the duration of the ability

Emergency power to shields by far in my estimate..

Transfer shield strenght has always been the best shield heal ability. Even if you dont have strong aux power. Thats the reason is so hard to find. Only a bunch of boffs have it.

Depends on the ship and career...on my A2B cruiser Science Team 2 and EPtS 1 will fill my shields. RSP3 is a great middle finger and with A2B it's up every ~45 seconds. Only issue with RSP3 is it shares a spot with DEM 3.

High Aux probably TSS 3, but you'll need a LTC Uni/Sci slot.

If you really just want to restore hit points, I believe Transfer Shield Strength and Science Team will be the best.

But survival with shields isn't just based on the naked shield points - if you can get shield resistances, the same amount of shields can last much longer. And for that purpose, Emergency Power to Shields is probably the best. (And Extend Shields is great for your allies, if they stay in range.)

That said - if you're under fire, Reverse Shield Polarity will likely yield the best heals. But it's not enough for prolonged fights due to its low uptime.

I dunno about tier 3 versions, but reverse shield polarity 1 is almost useless. I use it all the time, but just because thats almost the only shield "heal" i have in my tactical. And it never gave me shield resistance at all... its like not using the skill at all.

No, it doesn't give you any resistance.

It turns all shield damage you take into shield healing, so you will usually be rapidly healed out. But you still suffer bleedthrough damage, and when it's over, it's over. It can be useful if all other heals are still on cooldown and you need t bridge a short gap. But it's better if you still have some shield resistances active from other powers - at least in PvP, the incoming damage is often so high that without resistances, a brief spike heal isn't gonna save you.

That was my point. I meant that the ammount of shield heal you get is almost insignificant. If you look at the info of the proc and the percentaje of shield healing, its impossible that this skill is useful at all. Its ridiculous.. i dont care about pvp.. pvp is dead to me, but in pve i tell you.. i dont find that skill useful at all. TSS , in the contrary it is a life saver, and its like miracle worker but talking about shields lol.
