Space: The Final Frontier. These are the Stories of Virinat Detachment. It's Continuing Mission: To explore possibilities, To Seek new technology, And to boldly defend the Alliance.

A Detachment from the Romulan Aid Task Force sent by Starfleet, the Virinat Detachment was formed to work closely with the refugees and members of the new Romulan Republic, specifically those from the colony called Virinat, and to reinforce stability among the Romulan people.

The Detachment has since gone on to aid the Republic in general, exploring Republic space, seeking out undiscovered Romulan and Reman colonies, and defending the Republic.

When Operation Delta Rising was put in effect, Virinat had been re-tasked to the front lines of the Delta Quadrant. Now faced with the return of the Iconians, the Detachment has spread itself thin trying to help protect the core worlds of the Federation, Klingon Empire, and Romulan Republic.

Virinat Detachment is not limited to just Republic or Delta Quadrant security and will often team up to defeat foes like the Borg, Voth, Species 8472, Vaadwaur and Heralds.

Virinat Detachment is a Level 11 Fleet. We were founded May 14th, 2013, or Stardate 90972.73. We welcome all Federation Captains and Federation Allied Romulans into our ranks.

For more information, Contact Emma in-game at @jkbennett2008, comment here on the thread, or follow this link to our Fleet Webpage

We have only one rule: Respect Others.

As a last note: Donating to the Fleet Projects is Not required to stay in the fleet, though donations are greatly appreciated.

Thank-You for reading this and we look forward to talking with you.

Until Next Time ...

We are still recruiting. Virinat has a long road ahead of it, but with your help, that road can be fun and less bumpy, if that makes any sense. If you'd like to try Virinat out, just give me a contact in game at Emma@jkbennett2008. You have no pressure to stay if it doesn't suit you or your wants from the game. Consider it a Free Trial, although membership is always free.

I've played with Emma for quite a while now. She knows her stuff. If you want to help her out by assisting her fleet in growth and development, this is the pace to be. I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated.

Virinat Detachment is a very fun fleet, and is growing. They enjoy playing STO, and enjoy experiencing that with others. Emma is a good friend of mine, and I have the highest respect for her.

Every time we play STO together, it is always fun, and enjoyable. Thank you Emma for all the fun times you, John, and I had. I look forward to many more fun times ahead.

Thank you for the Kind words. I can say the same for them. Virinat is still looking for new and old players who don't mind helping a little fleet grow into something we can all be proud of.

We are also a new player friendly fleet, and love to answer questions. Should we not know an answer, chances are we have friends who do know the answer to your question. For Example, if your question is about a good build for an escort, I can offer you my build, but since I often fly Cruisers and Science Vessels, I'll likely ask Tim for some advice.

A really good group of people, I have known their co-founder for a while now and they are no joke.

They understand the tactics for all the end game content and their co-founder is a joy to play with.

SSO wishes VD all the best.

It would be great to see our allies grow and prosper. The Virinat fleet deserves it. I've known them for a long time now, and I always enjoy the time I get to spend with them. There's never a dull moment when we hang with this group.
we here at SSO wish you all the best, and I personally look forward to all the time we spend together.

We are still recruiting. I do apologize about the length in time it took me to respond ... had some issues keeping me away from the forums.

If you need any information about the fleet, all you have to do is ask either here on the forum, on our youtube channel, or in-game (my @handle is @jkbennett2008)

We are still recruiting. I know things have kind of slowed down for the game, and there seem to be more fleets than players willing to join them, but I would like to let you know that Virinat does not impose any requirements on you if you join. if you want to join only so you'll stop getting annoying fleet invites every 5 minutes or if you want to help build a small fleet or are just looking for a laid back, casual fleet, we'd be more than happy to welcome you, any of your alts, or friends to the fleet.

What is it that you look for in a fleet? Do you look for a fleet where you member 385 out of 490, where your there to work for the fleet? Where you have to donate this amount over that much time to stay in? Where you're rank in the fleet depends on one person's will?

I was in one of those fleets when I first started playing. I didn't like it. So I created Virinat to be different. In Virinat, you are not a number, you're a valued member. Our "Upper Ranks" ranks do the dirty work, and donating is Not required.

In Virinat, everyone is on equal ground, and we run a bi-leader system. Anything major doesn't get done without talking to the other leader.

If Virinat sounds like a place for you, please contact us here in this thread, in-game at @jkbennett2008, on YouTube, or on our Fleet Website.

Those of us at SSO enjoy getting to spend time with all of you at Virinat. You are a very friendly fleet, and respectful of your members, as well as others. Keep up the awesome work.

And I checked out the site. It is awesome. Nice work there.

Virinat is a very respectful fleet. We have shared tasks and duties for a long time now, and have always enjoyed playing the game together.
At SSO, we support our friends and allies, and Virinat will always be both to us.

In these quiet times, choosing a fleet that is right for you is very important. Some people may like the large 300 plus member fleets, and that's fine. I'm not saying those are bad fleets, they just are not what I look for in a fleet. I like the small fleet, the one that has to work hard to achieve a new tier in a holding. The one that builds a community. The one that cares about it's members. (I am not trying to say that all large fleets are careless, community-less entities, I personally have had bad experinces with them.)

Virinat is an extreamly small and casual fleet. We require nothing from you except kindness. While we are a small fleet, we have allies in other fleets, namely Starfleet Special Operations, that provide a larger community.

More information can be found at our Fleet Website or our YouTube Channel.

With season 10.5 coming and the addition of Armada's, Virinat is still recruiting and is open to joining (or starting) an Armada. We're a very small fleet (57 members counting alts and a bug character) and are a very casual fleet. We require nothing from you except kindness, whether you join Virinat or happen to be in the same Armada. We are looking to expand our community via the Armada System.

More information can be found at our Guildlaunch or Shivtr websites or our YouTube channel.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Now that Season 10.5 is out, we are still recruiting. You don't have to be an active player or a DPS-30,000 channel member to join. If you enjoy the game as much as we do, you'll fit in just fine here at Virinat.

I said above that you don't have to be active, but we are looking for active players willing to work with a tiny fleet and help build it up. Over the last two years, we've had two or three active players building the fleet, and things have been slow going. We are now trying to change that.

We are also looking to either join or start an Armada. Our biggest goal in joining (or starting) an Armada is to expand our community without asking someone to leave their current fleet if they do not want to. Virinat has always embraced the idea of inter-fleet cooperation and this Armada system fits our goals perfectly. If you have an Armada that you believe Virinat would be perfect for or would like to join an Armada that Virinat has started, please contact Emma in-game at @jkbennett2008 or check out one of our websites and visit the recruitment section of our forums.

More information about Virinat can be obtained either by contacting Emma in-game or following one of the links below to our websites.
