8472 Counter-Command Tier 5

I just hit Tier 5 a bit disappointing no bonus marks, no Dilithium, no Title (the agent but that is from the ground set), missions, boff ore something .The kit are nice but i do not need it. The armor is good, the 4 piece space bonus i like, but fix the 3 piece bonus pls, and i do like the the new modules (shame no for the old rep).

With Dyson reputation we also had to wait for t5 reward, it will probably come in some future patch.

Right now, there's nothing. you hit tier 5 and that's it.

At least with Dyson they could say, "We've got to make a cutscene for this and that takes time, plus people finished way too fast with their darn hourly projects."

But 8472 has no tier cutscenes or missions, and the people finishing it now are doing so within the constraints of the limited hourlies. Even more so, since the hourlies weren't working right at first.

It may not have been ready...that folks zoomed along to get there...those folks won't be in the majority. Based on when Cryptic expects the average or better than average person to get there, they'll probably have something. Course, could be a case of still planning out what the reward level will be...Borg or the others.

The only Tier 5 missions that were available on time were the Romulan and Omega Reputations. Nukara and Dyson took some time before they were finally available. Personally, I am hoping for more than just the usual rewards for the Tier 5 mission. They should give us a little some extra, but I just don't see them giving us an Undine Bridge Officer considering it took 4 cutscenes for us to convince the Voth Bridge Officer to defect.

Yes but not all Undine are fanatics he may have been some one we know in-game like E'genn but friendly on the ESD, some other system ore hub how wont to turn him self in ore help use out to school the rest of them

But there is one main difference between the Voth and the Undine. Voth Duty Officers are available through the Spire Fleet Holding and the Voth Lock Box while there is no method to get Undine Duty Officers. There are Hirogen Duty Officers so that could mean a Hirogen Bridge Officer in the future.

Wow. So those hourly rep thingies do add up. I've only been using the daily and I'm about five days or so before claiming T5.

Was hoping to have the armour and costume unlock tonight, but now I'll have to grind 100s of more Undine Marks... *sigh*

This is exactly what I think. They want us to keep grinding the rep marks even after hitting T5 for a while. I expected this before anyone hit T5.

Storywise season 9 has been a complete disappointment. The Dyson reputation had cutscenes and pieces of information hidden all over the battlezone. Undine reputation has nothing. No cutscenes, no further information, not even any rewards as I understand it. Up until season 8.5 I thought every new season would be better and more interesting. Obviously I was wrong.

Annoyingly capt geko did say ( on priority one podcast before season 9 ) he expected players to hit tier 5 in a month an a bit after season 9 dropped, this from my perspective would have given them ample time to sort out the tier 5 rewards.... so what happened? Maybe expansion 2 is eating up dev time I don't know, it feels to me that this season was an afterthought, a stopgap until expansion 2 comes out, just how feel about this year so far really.

i do not think so their is 9.5 coming hope is after the future episode and the second deflector for the sci ship

Was wondering for 5 days, maybe I missed a mission pop up for the Tier 5 reward but stumbled upon this thread today, sigh....

Only reason I whent for T5 was the dil reward shame

I think that for grinding this TRIBBLE 30+ days a player deserves some kind of compensation... it's like 5 mins of my life wasted once every 3 days after all...

its sad to say that i have just hit t5 rep and thought there would be no way they would let us have zero reward again and blame it on a unready cutscene as they haven't even had any little storys included or cutscenes on the 8472 rep so whats the excuse this time i wonder????

i swear they try to do this every time now and hope people don't notice or care, well guess what we care and we don't like it but not in the least bit shocked that they are doing it again.

just for cryptics info i never ran any 1 hour projects and just ran my 1 single daily which did work out to every 24 hours more or less as that is my schedule so again no reason they couldn't have my rewards ready apart from 1 more active trait which of course with new trait system i now have to choose if i want it or not with its great 5minute cd (woo i can possibly use it once per mission)

Rant over for now but not forgetting this :mad:

I have also reach T5 last night i was prepared for the lack of reward more or less and just for the info i didnt run a single 1h project from t1 to t5.

It is a disappointment to not get anything special for T5 but on the other hand its a F2P game so we cant demand anything actually. I have a lot of Zen stuff on my acc's but i have get it true hard grinding of Dilithium so cryptic didnt get money from me so the only ppl who can complain are those who subscribe or pay real life resources

From the latest tribble patch notes:

Systems:
Reputations 8472 Counter-Command:
Added a mission that is automatically granted upon completing Tier 5 of this reputation that will grant a large Dilithium, Experience, Energy Credit, and Undine Mark reward.

If the player has already reached tier 5, they will automatically receive the mission upon logging in

I'm still trying to figure out why they would release anything that's unfinished. It didn't work out well with Dyson. You'd think they'd have learned from that...

I hit tier 5 last night. Got dilithium and EC rewards, but no cutscene or mission.
