Starfleet Operations Special 10v10 Event

Event was held on last Sunday and was organized by Fleet Operations with many ppl from OPvP joining.

I understand they are planning to hold this 10v10 event every Sunday.
Was great fun playing with you guys.

Here is the video with full 3 10v10 games(after a few days delay, until i managed to finally edit, remix and make a special dual intro especially for this event)

    Thanx for the great games and compliment mate, 15 secs of warp jump part alone took 16 audio channels and 4 video channels to make :)

    I hope I can make it there on Sunday as well for next event.

    That looks awesome. Excellent video! I'll be finished building my new pc soon - still waiting for parts - so I can finally get off this netbook - Nvidia ION card >.< - and join a match that doesn't drop me to 1fps.

    When are these matches usually held? I'm on CET, but I require no sleep.

    Great fun we had there!

    Epic moments from 29:30 to 30:30, where we nuked each other, fair trade :D

    Anyway what did you use on my Avenger? That 30k hit on you was probably the Nadion bomb, but yours? I could see Shield inversion projector in there... and maybe FBP :)

    AEST: 9 PM Sunday
    PST: 4 AM Sunday
    UTC: 12 PM Sunday

    This time chosen as we're Australian and the time needs to work for us, the hosts.

    We'd like assembly to be around 30 mins prior so we can organise and get all the TRIBBLE talk out the way. :p

    Some rules we'd like to see followed:
    Requirements:
    Teamspeak will be required.
    Target Calling must be done using ingame TEAM Chat.

    Restrictions:
    Aux2bat builds are banned from participation due to their selfish nature and poor build quality. (not up for debate)
    All Teams will be RANDOMIZED.

    Most PVP'ers idea of winning: killing everyone.
    Tanks idea of winning: not getting killed.

    I'm out, then. I mean I have loads of ships that are not AtB based, but it's a too heavy restriction that I refuse to be forced to leave home Avenger and Excelsior all the times.

    And the other restrictions, they're lame. Don't let the fact that you're the hosts (therefore calling the shots) to become unpleasant. I hate to play under rules, I'm here to have fun, not have myself controlled by someone else.

    Selfish nature is debatable. Especially now that the team skills - TT, ET, ST - have no shared cooldown. I could run a Norgh with all 3 on Global - TT1, ET3 and ST3 - and still pack a punch. Much healing for a 'scort.

    That was my alpha fbp maneuver :) + a torp and DHCs . shield inversion detonated a second after you burned.

    I personally don't use a2b anymore on any ship, nor have I in last event, but restricting something is not in tone of last event.
    Teams were random, ships and skills were random and we all had fun.
    Think about it.

    Also, i don't mind fighting a2b ships.

    I heard it mentioned before the match. Which is why I didn't bring my a2b galaxy :o
