And you're telling us this because..?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Because he is a nice person giving us a heads up?

Maybe it will help with those having frame rate issues in the battlezone or other graphical issues.

If you going to let people know it, at least give em more information and make the post more useful.. like what improvements or new things have the new drivers, lol.

Anyways, i never update drivers because they are new. Most of the times, older drivers work even better.

If you are so inept that you can't find the Nvidia driver update website, what is the point? Have you ever heard of the term, "search engine"?

Oh and, you stick with that "older drivers work even better" concept all you want but if you ever, EVER! do have a graphics problem,... the first thing tech support will tell you to do is update your drivers to the most recent available version.

And dont you think that if i am going to let people know new drivers are out, dont you think the right think to do is to add information about em???

You are making things easy to people letting em know that new drivers are out, but you dont let em know what are the new things they carry just in case they dont want / need the new drivers. In my opinion it is a post lacking of information, thats all.

BTW, thank for that insult, i dont think that guy is me precisely...

PD.: Thanks Zipagat for the info.

Right, the new driver is out, Nvidia already posted all of the information about it. Right I made it easy letting them know it is out. Anyone who has a lick of sense can find the Nvidia site on their own and make those decisions without me re-posting the information here like Zipagat did.

I quoted your post. I did not edit it and I didn't insult you. I simply pointed out that, Nvidia released a new driver. If you are the sort of person that likes to keep their drivers up to date, which apparently does not include you then, IMHO "Time to update your drivers."

Right so anyway, I guess everyone needs something to complain about. :P

So, you just wanted to feel "important" because you are the first one that discovered new drivers. And thats it. Ok, i get that.

Its not about complaining, for god sake.. i just was saying that it cost no effort to add some text lines with the new improvements of the new drivers. Anyone with common sense will do that if they are letting people know new drivers are out. Go to any tech forum or non tech where people let others to know new drivers are out. They ALWAYS add info about the new drivers, it is a common thing to do. Its not about being lazy or watever.

You made a post called "new nvidia drivers xxxxx" and then the body of the post is "Time to update your drivers.". And you want people to thank you for that?? oW.. seriously.

I work in the Tech Field.

New drivers are a mixed bag. That is to say, the vast majority of the time new versions of a driver will fix know issues and improve hardware performance. Occasionally though, a new driver version will introduce you to new and exciting problems that you never had before.

I am not here to replace the Nvidia Web Site or compel you to update your drivers. I personally do. "Time to update your drivers." was not a mandate and if you have Nvidia GeForce video cards then well,... excuse the f__K out of me if I didn't copy and past the information you may or may not want to see that was already posted on the Nvidia web site.

So,... the new driver is out, all the information about it is readily available on the Nvidia website. Anyone who has an Nvidia graphics card probably already knows where that web site is or how to find it.

To all those that benefited from this thread, you are welcome. To all that have complaints, well I guess no good deed goes unpunished.

On that note, I am done with this thread.

I feel that I should point out most Nvidia driver users should know anyway without having to search as Nvidia Experience tells you itself from your PC when an update is released.

I'm always leery of driver updates.. If it's not busy breaking something in Autodesk Maya it's breaking something in Marmoset, 3DS Max, Mudbox, or xNormal.

So I lied, yes, that was the whole point of the post. A simple Heads Up. Not quite sure how anyone could find fault with that but, here we are.

In regards to the Nvidia Experience,... well lets just say it doesn't work as expeditiously on one computer as it does on others and some people that us Nvidia graphics cards don't even have it installed.

Like Bukaroo Banzai said, "Don't be mean,... We don't have to be mean because remember,... no matter where you go, there you are...

It has gotten a lot better now, it used to just freeze on me instead of downloading new drivers. The old version of it (control panel?) used to tell you when new updates were out to.

Im obviously more reasonable that some of you lol as i notice day after day.

Knowing when a driver is released is so damn easy, and people never care about when a new driver is released because every month we have new drivers (hell sometimes even every 2 weeks) and most of the times you will NEVER install a new driver unless it throws up some interesting improvements or performance fixes or watever. I stop checking for new drivers eons ago, because its stupid. When i remember, time by time i go to the nvidia webpage and i check it.

And in this case are A LOT of people.

    To the op:

So, there is no point for me that you tell me there are new drivers. Its like, o well, new drivers, lol. So what? xD.

The interesting thing is to know what is the improvements of those drivers. Its not a question of being lazy, if i am not going to install em, why the hell im going to the nvidia page on purpose? dont you think its better to give people that information?? people will even avoid to go to the nvidia webpage because they dont need new drivers.

You bothered yourself to check about the new drivers (probably you just saw it in your nvidia update service... lol) but you didnt even bothered to write 10 lines of text telling the people of the forums the news about em. Sorry but the lazy person is you. And its very suspicious that you probably saw it on your nvidia update service and you just went to the forums to make a silly post.

If you dont understand what im saying, then defnitely you need to grow up.

That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

Edge, can I ask you why you are always ranting in each thread you come?

You rant against the game, you rant against the Devs, you rant against any player, you rant against any information.

Don't you have any family to blow your steam off too?

Seriously Ed, I can just picture you now, foaming at the mouth, typing furiously trying to make your case over a non-issue. Do you have anything else better to do other than display your inane opinion and your apparent lack of literacy and knowledge of punctuation in a public forum?

I am sure all the time you have spent defending your pointless opinion on this forum could have been spent farming Fleet Marks or Reputation Marks or something.

Honestly dude, like I said before all the information you are whining about was already available on the Nvidia Web Site. Readily accessible to anyone with a computer that uses a GeForce Video Card or cards. That fact will not change.

All I did was post a friendly note that the new driver was released and available and you felt compelled to go off on me because I didn't copy and paste the information from Nvidia's web site into my post.

    REALLY?

No seriously, REALLY?.... Is this the issue that you are going to send all your troops up the hill over? Calm down, think about this.

    For those that run into the problem I encountered, try the workaround I stumbled upon;

    here

    http://www.guruht.com/2014/05/unable-to-connect-to-nvidia-geforce.html

    and here

    http://joshmccarty.com/2014/02/fix-geforce-experience-unable-connect-nvidia-try-later-error/

between them, I was able to figure out my systems problem then succesfully download and install the updated drivers.

Good Luck and happy gaming! :)
