Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Not really. I want the actual spade shaped "saucer" with the deflector on the TOP of the nose, not underneath, and the flat bottom of the primary hull. The Oslo with its half-way saucer and bent pylons is pathetic. At this point I don't care if it is just an additional skin or an all new ship. I just want the real thing, not some cheap copy.
I guess you can add Norway to the "Ships destroyed by the Borg Bundle" that people in the other threads are talking about (Challenger, Freedom, etc)?
Actually, no. The Norway was from First Contact, not BOBW.

Which is why I put it in "Ships destroyed by the Borg Bundle" instead of "Worf 359 Ship Bundle". I think one of them took a fatal torpedo hit from the cube in First Contact. Or was that another Akira? I need to check when I get home.

Been awhile since I've seen the battle, but I believe it was a Saber (class) that was nailed via Torpedo, I remember cause it tail spun after getting hit. An Akira was sliced in half via cutting beam.
I will always be in favour of more canon designs. But I just opened a new thread about how I don't see much room to add more and more independent ship classes. I personally could see the Norway-Class to be a alternate skin variant for the Patrol Escort. Like the Constellation could be a "add-on" with skin and console for the Heavy Cruiser, the Norway could be an "add-on" for the Patrol Escort. What do you think?
^ Memory Alpha.org is not canon. It's a open wiki with arbitrary rules. Only what can be cited from an episode is. ^

"A filthy, mangy beast, but in its bony breast beat the heart of a warrior" - "faithful" (...) "but ever-ready to follow the call of the wild." - Martok, about a Targ
"That pig smelled horrid. A sweet-sour, extremely pungent odor. I showered and showered, and it took me a week to get rid of it!" - Robert Justman, appreciating Emmy-Lou

I'd like that as well. Personally, I don't strictly need any new types of ships because what I have covers all the major bases. That doesn't mean that at some point I won't buy a new ship. It just means that I don't have that much motivation to throw money at that sort of content.
But I could always use new customization pieces. While the technical side of "blowing stuff up" has definite optima the aesthetic side is constantly swinging at a whim. I love the fact now that the patrol escort refit added options to my old ship, and there's certainly room for more of that with just about every existing ship type (Avenger comes particularly to mind) but not at the pace and cost of 2500 zen refits.
Ergo: bring back ship costume packs and if there needs to be more incentive (after all we can guess how popular they were from how cryptic stopped offering them) throw in a new universal console with each one or some other goodie (unique Boff, special weapon, ground costume, device ect.) that'll get people generally more interested (especially if they keep the price down to somewhere in the 500-1,000 zen range.)

I doubt will see Norway. Oslo is an alter norway and the ONLY reason Steamrunner got in is due to Steam adding the game to it's list. That made sense connecting Steam and Steamrunner but the original Steamrunner is only avialible for Steam users

Where did I hear that one before...oh right.
"Zephyr is Steamrunner". And we got the Steamrunner anyway because...Zephyr is not Steamrunner.
And of course "Celestial is Ambassador". And do you what we got? Ambassador. Wanna guess why?
Steamrunner because Cryptic wanted to add a ship with their promotion with Steam.
Ambassador because that was the last ship Tasha Yar was seen on in the show.
Not sure how we'll get the Norway in that pattern... unless the Norwegian government sponsors some part of STO.

Someday It will be available ........but........in a lockbox :P:P:P
Highly doubt that but if it did, it won't be the grand prize. Just one of those side offerings.
