I would like to see an upgrade to the Embassy for Fleet Romulan Ground weapons (Adv and Elite versions). Fleet versions of all kit mods would be nice but I'm pretty half and half on that. A holding on the Ferengi homeworld that gives us discounts in EC, FC, or at least GPL would be nice. It would have it own's dabo table too. This is kind of a iffy one for me. Elite versions of all of the weapon types would be nice but new procs could be risky.
So what do you want to see in the next fleet holding?
I would like to see, instead of buying fleet advanced and elite weapons you could take say a mk xii disruptor dhc accx3 to fleet a base and pay X amount of dc and dil to upgrade to advanced. And then elite. Idk but to prevent kink rage maybe keep efleetruptors klink only. Thoughts?
The boss being a gigantic Winter Epohh Researcher. As you lay waste to the Epohh Horde, she can occasionally cry out things like, "Didn't you want an Epohh friend?"
Espionage holding to get t5 ships/consoles/trait slots/master key fabrication?
Operations strip club. Learn new dance moves...+1trait place?
Medical holding...able to fix up injuries on your ship. Get a hologram boff modeled after the doctor
Exploration holding...insane engines (super warp booster and engines that are different then the normals) and speed consumables. deflectors with superior sensor analyzing ability/anti stealth.
I think that's about it...what other holdings could be left?
I'm sure whatever we get, it'd include fleet versions of any new equipment they add to the game, such as Secondary Deflectors, Comm Arrays, kit modules, etc.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.

Something big, at least 5 tiers and 3 departments like starbase so that large fleets have something to do for a while.
Some awesome gear so the whiners have something to whine OP about. Preferably coupled with some harder missions where that awesome gear could be put to good use instead of just curbstomping the same old same old.
Elite weapons for all damage types. Preferably coupled with some enemies against which the damage type actually matters. Elite phasers in the Andorian blue color. Elite torpedoes.
Proton weapons and tactical consoles. Because the experimental proton weapon and the dyson ship built-in cannons don't deserve to be forced into being "rainbow builds."
Fleet science consoles that boost energy types other than plasma. Maybe similar engineering consoles that boost torpedoes?
Either a full range of fleet warp cores with all existing mods available, or an intelligently compiled selection of the most useful combinations. Not a randomly-generated mess of whatever. Alternatively, a randomly generated mess of whatever that changes daily, so players can keep checking in to see if the core of their dreams has shown up (actually, that sounds more interesting than the full range).
Fleet marks to dilithium ore conversion mechanism. Because all the other marks have it, too.
A map that counts as a social zone rather than a mission, so we could actually stay there instead of getting booted out when taking a queue/logging out. Actually, that should be changed for all the current holdings too.
A space map that has a purpose or no space map at all. Clicking a "beam down" button is not a purpose. Having the space equipment shop(s) accessible from the space map would be a decent purpose since it's apparently not possible(?) to show their real stats while on the ground.
Maybe something cross-faction, now that the war is over?
And, not exactly a fleet holding feature, but closely related: Let players type in any number of commodities to buy at vendors/replicator (as long as they have enough inventory space of course). Because getting tens of thousands of whatever to put in a fleet project is just an enormous pain when you have to do it 100 at a time.
I know what the next fleet holding is going to be; Sec. Deflectors, and Kit modules. I'm sure we'll get a few new fleet ships, and some other new shiny bits, but that's about all we have left that isn't already available at fleet level.
Next Fleet Holding will likely be a new Starbase in the Delta Quadrant. After all, with how far away the Delta Quadrant is, you'll need an actually place to stick around. That and we're going to be in the Delta Quadrant soon. I'd also assume the new Starbase is near the Gateway, or a friendly planet near the Gateway, as well.
I would also assume the following for tracks:
Military - Brand new ships + other elite weapons + new mod types
Security - Probably the introduction of a few new modules (brand new skills)
Engineering - new type of consoles (probably something like adds resists and shields{regen or hp}).
Operations - Again new modules, but also a Delta themed ground set.
Research - Fleet Science Deflectors + new type of graviton/particle console (that will also add to other science categories).
Science - For a third time, new modules and I'd lay a guess on maybe a new Fleet ship set here that's more science based.
That's at least what I'd guess. Who knows if it'll happen. Don't think we'll colonize a planet until after that. I say brand new ships simply because I don't think the next holding is out until the Expansion.
As the other guy said, what about something to do with the Mirror Universe? Maybe we've taken that station from "Mirror Invasion" and we're collecting some Mirror goodies.
I would like to see more Synergy between the Starbase and individual Holdings. One thing that came to mind was unlocking themed gear if you have access to both a T3 holding and the appropriate SB sub-tier to unlock that item.
So for example, Fleet Advanced Romulan Plasma weapons, if you have already unlocked Fleet Advanced weapons *and* you have completed T3 Embassy. Some research project or facility upgrade back at the Starbase could be the last piece if needed, unlocked once those two tiers are reached.
Thinking of weapons only, synergy unlocks (with 1 or more sub-tier of the sb for research/development plus a full T3 of a holding) could lead to Fleet versions of Nanite, Elachi, Romulan, etc...
Fleet versions of those themed shields and kits would be nice as well.
I also feel like a PvP holding may be in order, but there may be bigger roadblocks to that.

civilian track:
1. uncommon Doffs with special fleet perks
2. very rare Boffs with fleet grade traits (superior operative, superior efficiency, superior leadership etc.) rare Doffs with fleet perks
3. ultra rare Boffs with the previously mentioned traits and very rare Doffs with fleet perks
note these would not all be the same perks that you'd get from normal Doff stuffs. like there wouldnt be an aux2bat technician. it'd be like a 1% increase to base hull regen
trade track:
1. unlocks all normal vendors such as commodities broker, and other EC vendors on a market street in the colony.
2. adds a crafting part section to the colony where crafting parts can be bought and used (post crafting revamp of course)
3. gives a very rare vendor that allows you to buy fleet variants of some of the device items in the game. the sort of items that either have multiple uses (like the summon item you can get from the romulan rep that has like 3-4 uses before consuming.) these very rare items would do things like "+15 power to aux for 500 seconds". "50+ structural integrity for 300 seconds" "+max flight speed and flight turn rate for 5 minutes" etc. we need more device items for our device slots.
colony main holding:
1. bank, exchange, mail unlocks
2. unlocks the ability to transwarp to colony and gives a social section where event items such as summer jetpack and jet board can be used. this area more for derping or for RPing. nothing more.
3. gives a fleet tailor that has all unlocked outfits to buy, along with several unique to the colony outfits that show off the latest "fashions". also allows purchase of 5 extra Doff spaces (one time purchase)
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.

That's a lot of tracks. More than even the starbase has. With that many it'd likely be two holdings
That said, we can be guaranteed secondary deflectors and kit modules, obviously. New holdings get the new stuff.
I am also thinking science will be next in the rotation. I am hoping for some sort of dual mode console that adds to two stats (like how fleet neutronium can also add to RCS). That or since we got offensive sci last time, the next ones we will get will be tanking related ie. field gens. I can only hope to get field gen consoles that reduce shield bleed or something.
If science consoles aren't next then maybe universal consoles that have a real effect rather than being a set piece or a gimick ability.
What I want to see besides that is the ability to upgrade our sets to fleet specs.
In addition I want to be able to craft fleet gear. Make a warp core that has the selection of affixes I specifically want or an elite tachyon deflector with [SciCdr] rather than settling with an axion with [FlowC] or [PartG]

I'd like to see a lot of things in STO, but none of them include new fleet holdings to unlock new abilities that are completely unnecessary for PvE and only serve to make PvP worse and worse.

If your whole fleet grinds coffee beans (a new level 50 currency) nonstop for two months, you will unlock a Tier 3 Coffee Shop and get the opportunity to run Provision projects for more coffee beans, which in turn let you buy Fleet Coffee for 100,000 fleet credits each. Fleet Coffee is a consumable which allows you to oneshot every boss in the game and makes you invulnerable for an hour. This will be balanced because you only have four Coffee slots, so no change to the PvE game is required. Also, you can spend 15000 dilithium to get a barista off-duty uniform.
I'd like to see Fleet stores for the reps too. Take the rep store items (Omega store, Nukara store, etc), and make Fleet versions of the gear. Use reputation marks to build the holding. Note: this would be just for store items and not for reputation projects.
A sports arena of some kind; where fleets can compete in... I dunno... volleyball tournaments or monster truck races or something.
I just want a fleet holding that actually has something to do in it. Social spaces are all well and good, but they don't really serve their purpose if nobody feels a desire to hang out in them.
I wouldn't mind seeing some useful devices, too. Ones that aren't instantly rendered moot when used. There are WAY too many consoles now. We have NO SPACE FOR THESE THINGS, which makes them considerably less interesting to buy. Why would I buy them when I have nowhere to put them?
But devices, this is open territory. We could use better or more interesting devices. Closest thing we've seen, though, is some of those junk embassy devices, which are immediately destroyed when you use one, leaving you once again deviceless. What was the point of that?
I want a holding that has something ongoing to do, rather than just stop by to shop. The mine had some novelty, but ultimately mining is boring and aggravating and not very rewarding. Needs something fun.
