UI needed for non-hanger dockable space combat pets

I do love me some hanger goodness. The new UI elements finally allow me to command and control them as I need.

However, I recently got the Elachi Monbosh with it's support craft console.
Problem is the dockable craft don't have the new UI available to them, so I've no idea if they're still alive or not during combat. Good luck finding them to heal mid battle!

Two requests:
1. We need a hanger style UI specifically for dockable combat craft, like Monbosh support craft, Ody and Bortaque frigates, MVAM sections etc.
I say 'hanger style' in that I'm only after the ability to see their health status and select them.
Giving hanger style attack/recall commands probably would be too much to ask. Just the ability to see and select them with a UI element is the main thing so we can keep aware of their situation.

2. When un-docked combat/support craft(s) are destroyed, atm they just sit there smouldering away, being useless. Please make it so when dead, they automatically re-dock to begin the long 3 minute or whatever cool down to relaunch.
Atm, unless you realise they're dead, you effectively making the the relaunch window artificially longer than it needs to be and is unfair especially as hangers get a continual count down for next launch.
Perhaps if point 1 is attended to, it wont be too bad a problem, but having them re-dock automatically just makes sense. Not like you can revive them otherwise.

    I partially agree.

    They definetly need attack/recall commands as im sick of watching my little helper console go across the map from where i am and not doing anything to help me at all....
    Inertia just means you can do Powerslides in you carrier!

    Agreed, we definitely need a way to control our auxillary craft.

    I agree with this as well and with the addendum of some kind of basic commands. The pets, as they are, are unpredictable and unreliable, nothing more than a gimmick. When I send off a part of my ship as part of a tactical operation, I expect the officer I assign to it to obey my orders, not go into business for himself.

    Agree but with simple UI we need better AI for them too. It's annoying when my support and control craft don't match my speed and stay way behind me. Not mention that they use abilities in very stupid way.
