Trying To Understand Foundry Daily Limits

cajunxroadscajunxroads Member Posts: 56 Arc User
To All

I have several questions about the Foundry Daily Limit, they are:

1) Is the Foundry Daily Limit per character (Toon) or per account?

If one had the following conditions listed below for a character then please answer the questions below it:

Conditions: Have not played for a day or two, reset was just a few minutes ago, your character is Federation level 50, the first thing you do is select a Foundry Mission for drops that convert into Energy Credits (EC) and you proceed to the mission and complete it.

A) Then the Foundry Daily Limit is actually how much in EC?
B) If the Foundry Daily Limit is per Character (Toon) then can you actually get the max for each Character per day with the above conditions described?
C) If you have multiple Characters, can you complete one Foundry mission and then go directly to another Character for a Foundry mission following the above set conditions without changing the Foundry Daily Limit on the second or third character that you have?
D) If you have multiple Characters, does completing the same Foundry Mission cause any difference in the Foundry Daily Limit?
E) Between the daily and hourly Foundry missions is there a difference in the Foundry Daily Limit? IF so, what is the difference?

Loot is based off an XP cap. Once you hit a certain amount of Foundry exp loot stops dropping. This affects the Bonus exp weekends because you end up getting half as much loot.

I'm also pretty sure its character based not account based and there's no timer or anything related between characters.

I'm not sure what you mean by question E

IMO the Space Battlezone is a better source of loot EC.

It gives out just as much loot but now with Dilithium, Marks and...the undine rep thingy (I forgot what its called)

Or play the Undine front mission "Assimilation" and sell the module prize. Some of them sell for over a million ECs.

If you're playing those loot grinders for ECs, you're not really effectively farming ECs.

If you have a fleet, sell white doffs bought from your starbase. Tour the galaxy. Farming the foundry is a waste of time and it clogs up the listings.

    A) No daily limit in ec value, only in the number of drops. I average about 500K, not including exchange sales as opposed to scrapping.
    B) 7 toons in my case, can generate 2.5-3 mil per day.
    C) Yes.
    D) No.
    E) ?? Everything is based on a daily for total in drops, including Foundry.

are those modules still going for a million each? I'm surprised the market hasn't been completely flooded crashing the prices

I haven't sold one in 2 days, but I did sell one then for 1.2 mil ECs.
