How do I get a Galor class?

I mainly want it to get the spiral wave disruptors. I know you could get it from lock boxes but are there other ways of obtaining it?

If not what are my chances of getting a galor in a lockbox?
Veteran of STO, had it for 5 years. Unfortunately, my Original account is gone.

    Same chance for any other ship in a lockbox. Your chances are TRIBBLE.

    I've been looking to get a galor for some time, but not directly. When I need lobi, I open cardy lockboxes to see if maybe I actually get one. Over 200 boxes so far (over 2 years) and haven't gotten one. They might not even drop anymore, I don't know.

    If you really want one, best to just save up and buy one off the exchange. No real other way to get them aside from the two previously mentioned.

    Dangit... that's over 100 mill credits.. I only have the capacity for 9.9 mil... Its going to take me monthes to get that much creds....

    Yes, it will probably take you months. But that is the beauty of working toward something and earning it. Once you own it you will have a new-found appreciation for its worth.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    I only want the galore so I can use the Spiral Wave Distruptors. I couldn't care less about the Galore.

    The you can appreciate the Spiral Waves then, the point is still valid.

    Supposedly you only need the box in your inventory to buy the spiral waves...

    Prove your trustworthy and perhaps someone will let you "borrow" the box

    I've opened enough lock boxes to have over 2400 lobi and only ever got one ship, an adapted destroyer.

    Initially, players could only access these weapons by owning a Cardassian Galor Class Cruiser, otherwise they were unobtainable. As of 22 June 2012, these weapons can be bought from dilithium store for 45,380 Refined dilithium icon.png providing the owner already has a Galor Cruiser. These items come with the [Acc]x2 and [Dmg]x2 suffix, making them a Very Rare weapon, and one of only four Very Rare weapons that have 4 modifiers (all the others are quad cannons).

    Well, most people consider me trustworthy, I don't like to make people mad at all. But I believe I have read that you need the Galore in your possession (Ship slots) in order to use it. There are two ways of getting the galore:

    Pay 10$ to extra EC cap and a 3-5 monthes EC grind
    Someone gives me a Galore <---- (Probably not going to happen, but Ill just hope)

    I'm not sure that the spiral wave weapons are worth all that but for a million credits I'll let you get vaporized by mine.

    If it is possible to get the Galor weapons from just owning the ship in its box I'll have no problem getting one off the exchange just to get the weapons on all my Characters but I don't think that it's possible.
