1st Cavalry Fleet

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Community,
I like to introduce a brand new fleet called, the 1ST Cavalry Fleet. And what I mean by brand new, I mean by, just opened the box and pulled out of the bubble-wrap new. We are not formed just yet, but let me explain about 1stCAV before I mention why it isn't formed.
1stCAV is a multi-purpose clan. Our main focus is in another MMO game, but we are always eager to expand to other MMO games. I personally have been playing STO, not very competitively like most players, since STO first came out. I still have the hard copy as well, even the bonus Constitution Class from TOS, and about 8-9 months ago, I became a Lifetime Subscriber to STO while it was on a discount thanks to the New Romulan Republic addition to the game. I personally brought this idea of a 1ST Cavalry Fleet to my superiors and they agree to it being a good idea.
Why?
Simple. We wish to expand our member base, and expand further to other MMO games as much as we can. But there just haven't been that many dedicated players willing to lead those areas, like myself for STO. So right now, you see very little of us in Minecraft, and SWTOR. But you do see a lot of us in WoT, which is our main focus. But my goal here is not to steer you away from STO, ohhhhh no. My goal here is to interest you into joining a Clan that has been around for a long time, and has many members! But we want more! And we need more! Not a lot of us can split between one MMO to another MMO for the Clan. Most of us are entirely focused on one MMO because of Tournaments, Clan Wars, etc. Which is perfectly understandable, that is why, for 1ST Cavalry Fleet, we want YOU to join!
Simply put, we don't want our current members just to hop around all the time if and when we need them. We don't want to stress our members in having to be there all the time for different MMOs. We want our members to feel at home, to be relaxed, and having a lot of fun! So if you join this Fleet, you don't have to be worried about being pressured to join other MMO games that we are in, if you do not want to! Why would we do that? So unfair of us if we did.
The 1STCAV Clan is a very relaxed, mature group of people. But we do have to strict requirements to the age of 18 or higher in order to join. It's nothing personal, but we aim to show honor and respect within this Clan, as we would do for all Clans. You know the saying goes, the Golden Rule, treat others the way you want to be treated and we respect all. If you are the age of 16 and sincerely want to join, some of our recruiters will have a little chat with you before determining whether you can join or not. Like I said, its no hard feelings, but the truth in the matter is, a lot of us are adults in 1CAV, and quite many of us have a family and kids. With that, we also use Team Speak for 1CAV, so that is why we need maturity, so no one would be going around, swearing up and down the wall, that's something we just can not accept.
With that put away, let me go ahead and explain why it isn't formed yet. Specifically, I am waiting for some of our current members to join me in STO, when they are available of course since we all live in different time zones, and help me form the Fleet for 1CAV. By that time, any MAIL/PMs sent to me via STO Game, I will respectfully, and honorably note your names and invite you into the Fleet as soon as possible!!
The 1ST Cavalry Fleet is also in trial stages. Reason for being is, the Clan Leaders do like the idea, they just don't want to fully implement it into the 1CAV Home Page; which is www.1cav.org ; until they are absolutely positive that this Fleet will work. So, once the Fleet is formed and start getting our first few official members (not members already in the Clan that is), then I will inform my superiors of a set goal and time it will take to reach that goal. And if we reach or pass that goal before set time, we succeed! Then the 1st Cavalry Fleet in STO will be placed on the 1CAV Website. Those who knows these things, would perfectly understand why my superiors are being cautious, I most certainly do. But that is why I intend to make this Fleet work!
Now, as you all know, being that this Fleet will be brand-spanking-new, we won't have any installations. But that's not bad!!! Think of it as an opportunity to gain Fleet Credits and Provisions to purchase FLEET VESSELS!! Think of it as an opportunity to start fresh and show how dedicated you are to the Fleet! But I must ask that you do not take all the credit, oh no. This is a GROUP EFFORT! I want as many members able to participate in Projects and Upgrades! This way all members can be happy! It will take a long time to fully upgrade every installation in the Fleet, but the effort and reward will be worth it! Think of it, as opening a brand new car...that lovely new car smell...but now, its an intoxicating, breath taking smell of a brand new Fleet!
So what are you waiting for?! Mail me, @Jamesmaxwell , right away! And if I get enough requests, we can form the Fleet right away without having to wait on my current Clan buddies
, no offense to them of course lol! But we would want to get started right away, right? And if this Fleet is formed with 4 new members, currently not in the Clan, it will impress my superiors a bit. Not that it's needed....

1st Cavalry Fleet is officially open and recruiting, thanks to the assistance of my Clan Mates in getting it created! Right now there seems to be a problem with Fleet Uniforms...but everything else is situated and fitted together nicely. We got some events set up, including daily recruiting non-stop. We will work hard together, to help each other gather Fleet Marks or Reputation Marks that are needed for Rep Projects! As well as help each other gather loads of Dilithium and more!
So come on gang, come join the 1st Cavalry Fleet and let's work on upgrading the beast like crazy mad people we are!! Oh...did I just admit something there? *whistles* :P Kidding ha.
We are very friendly, we use team speak for faster communication, and we tell jokes from time to time! We are also very casual, we don't expect you to dish out 8,000-10,000 Dilithium a day. We don't expect you to grind for Fleet marks every hour!! No way!! If you want to play, but still be part of a wonderful community, then what are you waiting for? Join now!
I must remind you though, we do expect you to be 18 of age, we may even make exceptions for 16, but you also must remember the golden rule that we follow, respect and treat others the way you want to be treated and respected! If you can follow that, then you can expect lots of welcomes!
