Advanced or elite fleet phasers

So hello. I have Fleet dreadnought beam boat. i Have my build decieded. It will involve yellowstone runabouts, 8 phaser beam arrays ( i checked the drain, and i can jeep it 120+ most of the time if i am carefull ), leech console, nukara console, zero point conduit, 1 fleet rcs ( all ress ), 2 fleet neutronium with plus turn, and 4 tactical consoles.

My problem is what phaser beam arrays to choose, advanced or elite. ???

Most guys are telling elite version is not wirth it

    Damage wise they are about the same. The difference is that the elite version has a proc that can restore a small amount of shield strength, losing one of the [DMG] modifiers usually.

    If you already have the advanced, getting elite is not worth it IMO. If you don't, then it's up to you on if the proc is worth the extra cost to you.

    and how potent is that shield heal given i have 2,5 % chance to activate it

    uff... i dont see that very good...i have read about KDF elite disruptors. Looking at this i could just buy fleet advance phaser beam arrays ( 8 of them )

    I'd be suprised if it doesn't read different in space, there's a few skills(emitters and flow caps) that I can imagine would affect it just like the polaron and tetryon procs(I'd want someone to confirm since I haven't tested it myself usually using Advanced AP and rom plasma on most ships)

    It actually procs quite often if you're spamming a2b faw, not a lot of heal though, and it hit already full shield most of the time. Valedore console's heal is more potent in comparison.

    Btw, get an assimilated console and kcb on there, it helps a lot with weapon drain, and gives a net increase in dps. It could mean the difference between the dropping power levels you have now vs constant overcap.

    If you don't already have advanced, might as well get elite. Since modifier selection on advanced fleet weapons are limited, you're basically losing a [dmg] modifier as opposed to one of the more potent modifiers.

    Well, once you get out to space the proc does a lot more healing than the infocard says (since skills aren't taken into account). I run elite phaser DHCs with rapid fire and they proc frequently. When they proc it comes up as a set of 4 shield heals since it applies the regen to all 4 sections. I've seen the proc come in between 200 and 800 (x4) depending on what my aux power is at (leech) and whether I've triggered a science team (doffed).

    Overall, the proc isn't worth the cost in my opinion. Elites do help me in PvP, but for PvE advanced phasers are far better for the cost.

    i am now collecting fleet credits ( i have around 100k dilithium ). I dont know how good will it be even in pvp given all play escort and burst damage. I dont know...

    It's not much difference either way. But the price gap is pretty small. If you haven't gotten advanced already, might as well go for elite.

    Keep in mind what I mentioned about limited choices on modifiers. With Advanced, the most you can get is [accx2][dmgx2]. It's basically an extra [dmg] modifier, which is hardly anything.

    On the klink side, elite disruptor's special proc (shield resist debuff instead of fed's shield heal) is so potent that it's a must have over advanced. Fed side is not so clear, but still worth it in my opinion.

    If memory serves, it's 10k more fleet credits and 4k more dilithium.
