Protonic Polaron vs Dominion Polaron (secondary ship)

Since I am converting one of my ship to disruptors, I am going to retire the protonic polaron onto a few seconadry ships that I fly.

Problem is I also got some Dominion Polarons lying around.

Thus, I want to know: Should I get rid of Protonic Polaron (from the box, all purple), or the Dominion Polaron?

    If you're specced into flow caps or running a drain build: Dominion polaron
    if you have very high crit rate and uses the dyson consoles (that boosts proton damage): Protonic polaron.
    I'm from the former category, running a sci ship, and enjoys dominion polaron ever since it came out

    If you're unsure: mix and match (since they all benefit from the same tac consoles)

    Dominion Polaron (if you mean the ones from Boldly They Rode) only go up to Mk11 and come with a lone CrtH mod. That means your Protonics are gonna hit harder and probably be more accurate.

    The Proton damage from Protonic Polarons... I'm not sure, but I think the extra Proton damage can also crit separately from the Polaron damage, since I've seen some really high numbers when critting baffle me at times.

    Try the Protonic Polarons in any case, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
