It would be really nice if Cryptic added something to STO that allows you to test things against enemies in an enviroment you control. Like what they do in Champions Online in the Powerhouse training area, its got those target dummies and the virtual reality room. I mean come on we have Holodecks lets do something useful with them.
This would really help people with testing out builds in an environment we can control, I hate having to go to the Stranded in Space mission to test out builds against enemies who are constantly moving and making it difficult to stay on a weakend shield facing, id like to be able to target an enemy or enemies that are not moving. I use the Orion Corvettes in Stranded in Space at the beginning of it as target dummies but because they move I dont always get an adaquate look at my builds, so please add a training area like the one in Champions

Say, add a holodeck to ship interiors?
Yeah im not a programmer, and ive never used the foundry before, I dont even know how, secondly im a free to play player so I dont think I can use the foundry other then playing missions others have made. Also...drop the condescending, smug attitude, you're not better then me, your not awesome, you're just plain sad, grow up or get out.
Read my Academy post. The link is in my sig.
In all reality, though...I don't see it happening.
If you thought that was a condescending and smug attitude? lol
Check out the Foundry. It's possible people have already written training rooms for you to test your weapons and stuff on.
Wow, can you get a larger overreaction out of this?
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Whoa... ok then 0_o
Also, "you're"
Considering that most people treat me like I am trash whenever I say anything on the forums, you'll have to forgive me if I over reacted to what she said. I do not appreciate being spoken to in the manor in which she did. I do not come to the forums to make enemies nor start arguments.
Always treat other people as if they are ignorant not malicious.

What do you mean by ISE?
Basically what mightybobncn has said
Infected Space Elite maybe?
Basically this. It'd be cool to go in there and spawn a certain set of enemies, say 5 Borg Spheres and a Cube or 5 Cadarssian Galors etc.
Plus, it bugs me that Holodecks aren't used. They're such an iconic part of the show.
Yes, Infected Space Elite.
And it was a joke. I don't really test new builds in an STF.
Or do I?
My character Tsin'xing
That's why I just use Infected Space Normal from the queue. That way not only am I anticipating bad players, but it gives me a better testing area to see whether or not I can reasonably carry a pug with my build.
