Are we fully Arc now or what

have not been on for a while http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=16630401#post16630401 is why and my question is does the standalone launcher even useful any more besides memories :confused:

    No. Arc is not required yet. Even if it was, you would still be able to use Steam.

    the moment it is a requirement is the moment my meal ticket would end up in the steam cafeteria.

    besides if it had come out there would be fireworks gone off around the mmo world about it and the community itself, you would know about it very quickly.

    the day that they block the OEM launcher is the day I stop playing and if I could run L4d/2 and HL game without steam I would.

    I had to reinstall the game and was forcing me to install Arc, so I installed it on Steam instead.

    No, ARC nor steam are mandatory at this time.
