Depends on their abilities.
If they really had to put playable Borg ships in-game, I personally feel they should stick to Assimilated-Style ships or, at most, the assymetric Borg vessel. Undine vessels are honestly on the weird side, but I can put them out of my mind. But full-on symmetric Borg vessels? It just feels completely weird to me.
Not to mention you just know they'd put "Assimilate Ship" or the Borg shield destabilizer on as a universal console and make them massively overpowered for a while.

Some people say we won't get Cubes but other things from Diamonds to spheres.
So lets do a Poll - which is not too scientific because only a small percent of people really interested in the game visit the forums(unless there is a huge crash)
Question 1) Would you want a Cube type ship if possible?
Question 2) Would you want a Borg Diamond?
Question 3) Would you want a Borg Tactical Sphere?
Question 4) Even if you don't want them - do you think it could be the best selling Lock-Box - especially if they add lots of Borg doffs and Borg plasma weapons(Romulans would like more plasma weapons!)

I mean heck... We can fly freakin' Ferengi, Undine, Tholian, Jem'hadar, and Hirogen ships so why not? I mean we already blew apart all possibility of anything remotely canonical about this with that. However, I would prefer if we could get a whole Borg Faction (which would make Canon sense) of the Borg Freedom fighters from Unimatrix 0.
No to the Borg Cube, but a playable Diamond or Sphere would be doable. Certainly would make more sense than flying around in an Undine ship, and we obviously now have that capability.
Honestly, having access to Undine ships actually bugs me more than the idea of flying around in Borg ships. I mean, it's been shown, in both the show and STO, that we can utilize adapted Borg technology, and it's believable that the smaller Borg ships, at least, could be flown with a traditional crew, after a bit of modification.
But due to the biological and extra-dimensional nature of the Undine ships...well, while it's certainly not beyond the realm of possibility that Starfleet (and the rest) could find a way to interface their tech with Undine tech (this is Star Trek after all, where technobabble will always find a way), it still seems like it would be a lot more difficult than, again, modifying Borg tech for safe and easy use.
And while I think Borg Lockboxes would be very popular, it's debatable as to whether they'd be the "best selling".

well at about 80% "no" for the ships - BUT also about 80% believe that the general player base will jump on the Borg gamble box and eat it up and want more- interesting.
Since the next box will still most likely drop during S9 and they will probably stick with the Delta Quadrant I am going with 2 options.
1)Borg Box
2)Krenim Box - with another Time ship theme(even though the ship never existed by the end)
Personally being science oriented and a big doffer - both would be ok if the did a Borg Diamond that was science + a huge selection of new purple Borg doffs.
I want lots more Borg Doffs - much more than the ships.
If Cryptic ever does become desperate enough to create a Borg lock box, I sincerely hope that they take the time to make them faction specific(fed,kdf,rom) like the Temporal box. Which brings up the question, which ships would we want assimilated.

4. I wouldn't mind borg version of our current ships and they all come with a borg warp core, that maybe opened more jump locations, or added back some of the hull heal that was taken from the 3 piece borg set. turning it into a 4 piece set or something like that.

No, no, no & yes.
My theory is that when you see a Borg Cube in a lockbox is when PWE is milking STO for every last dollar before they shut it down. You'll get 2 months of "OMG I am GOD!" then STO will be a memory.
Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.
Unfortunately seeing undone ships makes it a distinct possiblity that borg ships are coming.
I would prefer a liberated faction that has borg modified ships. Or even better one ship that adapts as you gain level. That would be a very interesting concept.
Take your liberated borg character get starter ship, then when you hit lvl 10 you get the option of what type of ships.
You ship then changes to fit that role. This happens every 10 lvls. This might allow multiple variations of ships. Unfortunately there would be cookie cutter setups but still allows for a good deal of variation.
We seen this sort of happening in the episode of Enterprise called Regeneration. The ship was changing all the time.
Story line behind the faction could be liberated borg players are sick of the discrimination from the squishies (my new name for none liberated borgs). I would also grant some bonuses to the lifetime members.

I seriously doubt that they will ever make the Borg ships playable... but I also said that about the Undine and look what they did with them. If they do, I would probably say either the Probe or Sphere as part of the Anniversary Event like what was done with the Breen Ships.
IMO, some of their content decisions are stupid... but evidently good business as they are making lots of money from lockboxes. It wouldn't surprise me if they did add Borg ships to a new lockbox in the future. It'd be nice, however, for some of the insane amounts of money they get from their legalized gambling system and funnel some of it back into the game for development and bug fixes instead of the half-hearted program this game is currently under.
If the same dedication was made to fixing the problems with this game as was shown in redesigning ESD, this game would be much better, IMO.
