From what I've seen and read I understand that this ships is a flying brick and I love that but I have some question about abilities. I've seen that it can equip a Console - Universal - Saucer Separation and I wonder will that always be avaible or will it be removed in the future?
From reading this I wonder can It equip a cloaking device? The Galaxy class was refitted at the turn of the 25th century, after the collapse of the Khitomer Accords in 2399. In response to increased hostility with the Klingons, the newly redesigned ship carries a cloaking device and a devastating spinal lance weapon.

Saucer ability was just recently added and will be permanent.
You can equip it with a cloaking console from the non-Fleet Dreadnought or the Tactical Escort Retrofit
It actually just got the ability to use saucer sep so I doubt it will be removed.
There is a 2 piece console bonus when you equip both saucer sep and AMS.

Good for me that I got the AMS and the saucer sep, now I have to aim for the cloak... and getting the actuall ship.......

If you buy the c Store Dreadnought, you can buy the Fleet Dread for only 1 Fleet Module and Fleet Credits.
The cloak isn't really all that great.
Its a standard cloak, not a battle cloak so it only works before you enter combat.
It takes a console slot and ONLY provides cloaking no other benefit.
At least AMS and saucer sep give you a 2 piece bonus as well as allowing your saucer to use AMS. By contrast the cloak only renders you invisible before enemy contact which is really only useful for alpha striking and even then that's mostly only good for PVP.

the fleet dread / dread can use both AMS and Saucer Sep, giving it +2 base turn rate, and +20 to both the energy and kinetic dmg resist skills.
AND you can give it a cloak too.
