Been toying with the Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier since it first released. Its been more of a project ship then anything, but recently I've hit a roadblock on it. Its getting about 15k DPS, and I can't seem to get anything over that mark. Does anyone else have any decent builds/suggestions?
http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/skillplanner/?build=torvjemdread_0 is my current layout.
DoFFs are three purple technicians, a Marion, and a purple warpcore engineer.
I cycle pets between Elite Jem'Fighters, Elite JHAS, and Elite Rommy Scopions.
Thanks for the help ^^

First, put FAW III on, ditch the Omega and have Beta III and Beta I.
Running Mk XII VR is hurting your DPS output just a little, Try the Fleet weapons.
If you can get the Zero-Point Energy Conduit, throw that on there. Higher energy levels=more damage
Put the Assimilated Module on there, and pull one of the beam arrays for the Kinetic Cutting Beam.
Heres what I run, and I have broken the 15k mark with it

With the nature of polaron, you may be losing damage running the Jem Set. I've had similar issues with that set on my Jem'Hadar Attack ship running phased polaron. The Assimilated Mk XII two piece with the Elite Fleet shields may boost your output a little bit.

Have you tried DBB up front with cutting beam and turrets in the back (PVE frontal assault build) (can use a torp up front as well for this idea).
Have you tried to increase your crit chance, such as the nukara accuracy console (bleeds to crit) or the other rep consoles?
Are you getting amped (75 in all power levels?) and if so, are you also able to keep your weapon power over 100 all the time?
At a glance I would say any improvement to your crit rating would be the #1 most immediate results.
I've been trying the FAW3/APB1+AB3 setup you suggested for a little bit now. I've noticed a pretty impressive DPS boost; got me up to 17k just with that change alone.
I've also slotted the ZPM; not noticing much of an increase in power levels (I'm an Engineer with all engineer traints + plasmonic leech, so power drain isn't an issue I have), but the increase in Critical chance is working awesome.
Regarding the polaron; they aren't Mk XII VR, they are Dyson Protonics, which have a chance to do proton damage on each Critical Hit. Very, very nice, espeically with high critical chance.
@noroblad; BO3 works really nice in PvP, but I dunno how it'll work for DPS. That aside, I'll give it a try and see how it works!
The DBB/turret idea isn't quite my style because of the slow turn rate of the Jem'Dread...but maybe single cannons and turrets? Could work nicely with scatter volly. I might just give that a shot.
As far as Amp and power levels; I have all four subsystems over 75 thanks to Aux2Batt, EptX abilities, the Emegerency EPS Manifold trait, and the Plasmonic Leech. Very nice to have.
@edalgo: I updated the planner build with my best guess of my skill tree (i'm at work currently and can't get in game for an exact copy!). Your BoFF layout looks a lot nicer then mine though, I'll give it a swing and see what happens. I also equipped the Zero-Point and the Tachyokinetic, and I'm looking into the other ones as well.
Those are my thoughts, anyway ^^
For your science/engineering slots, you're going to have to make some tanking sacrifices to boost your DPS. I would drop the shield consoles first, since the neutroniums do boost your turn rate.
No need for aux2bat.
Could fit 3 damage control engineers and get a epte for more speed and turn.
Marion is a given.
