Space and Ground Reputation Traits

So, STO, what was the genius behind making the reputation trait stuff? It's pretty bad and I think everyone would rather have the old system of choosing 1 out of 2 options of traits when you unlocked a tier, or ya know, at least allow us to buy some more traits, something? 4 slots is horrid and the amount of good traits is overwhelming, please do something. Anyone who disagrees, please don't feel the need to comment, I would rather only have a DEV or someone who agrees comment on my post.

They think they're fixing the balance issue. Thing is, they're really only making it worse. We know that, but they apparently don't.

In this game, you're OP or you're useless. The "best" players have all the best gear and abilities. Their ability to work as a team and coordinate attacks (like in the old STFs) doesn't matter anymore.

And it's RARE for a dev to comment. They used to all the time, then it tapered off until we were left with one or two of them. And they aren't all that attentive to these forums. So good luck with that.
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

The traits don't make you op or useless. I have toons that have never done any of the reps, so never got traits, who blow through stfs just fine with their plain jane gear.

What the new traits do is require you to make decisions about what type of character you want to be rather then everyone being everything. I think more class distinction is a good thing. I hope they start nerfing a2b and tactical team in the 9.5 update.

It's time to start treating this game like it's star trek rather then vap online.

You THINK everyone would agree? Nice generalization but not accurate. Many( not all) in my fleet love the trait respect on the fly. Specifically the personal traits. going all ground for ground stuff really makes a huge difference.

Yeah I don't mind it, It's fun playing around to find that one combination that totally works.
