Trait Nerf

Did anyone gave a reason for nerfing the traits ?

Or is this another scheme of free-to-PAY ?

    I recommend a quick glance through the thread in the galactic news area of the fora.

    Look for the dev blog announcing the changes.

    There you will find really rather a lot of discussion on the subject, with some dev input.

    Ok thanks for the directions.

    And I am happy that we now may "choose" to have 1/2 the stuff we use to had.

    But I will really be pleased when I find that for x Zen I will have another Trait Slot !

    Doubt it will be a zen purchase....far more likely, imo, it will be hidden behind a relatively high tier on a new fleet holding.

    That's been covered as well. There's been countless discussion on the matter both on the forums and even in podcasts. It wasn't a surprise that was just dropped out with S9...it's been discussed to death and back a few times for weeks on end.

    That is the dev tracker. You can see recent posts by the devs there (unfortunately, it gets littered with nonsense about bacon from one of the new CMs reducing the usefulness of it).

    However, to be fair, newer posters dont always realise that some heavy discussions are found in the lesser travelled parts of the fora.

    As a general point, I would recommend to all of our newer players to take a little time and explore more of the subfora. All sorts of interesting nuggets found here and there.

    Oh yeah, that's why I edited my post to include the link to the Today's Post thing...lots of folks will end up in General Discussion without realizing that there are any other places where discussions are taking place. There was even one guy that drew the ire of the mods by saying he knowingly posted his thread in General Discussion instead of where it should have been posted because he knew that it might at least get looked at there since not many venture outside of Gen Dis by comparison.

    Yup, I clocked that issue as well.

    Sometimes Gen dis is seen as a default subforum, when it really is not.

    And, to be brutally honest, i have been as guilty as any in missing that.

    Nowadays I do try to be a bit more specific, although i got a thread in the wrong place myself a few days ago.

    Meh, given they've got more than a few redundant forums - sometimes Gen Dis is just a case of splitting the difference.

    It's Pay2Win. Get it right.
    My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

    That just means you haven't paid enough yet.
    My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.
