Insulting the Dev's is a good way to get a thread removed.

And talking about the removal action is against the rules, so... yeah

When it comes to MMO's, there usually isn't a refund option, period

You could also give them the customary 24 hours (or up to the next Thursday patchday) to fix what you are concerned about. The joystick/controller related thread in the Bugs section of the forum is probably prompting someone to investigate.

Have you tried to limit your thread content about removing controller support and how it might affect you or others, and leaving out your personal feelings about the developers?

Out of interest, where you using summat like xpadder to translate controller button pushes to keyboard presses?

Because the UI doesn't like that much any more. It thinks you're using a key presser for Kore nefarious reasons.

You want a refund.....And I want my Bicycle's gear shifter cable to stop binding up. Sucks when you can't have what you want, doesn't it?

nope simply the built in controller support with a custom set of in game binds, but it doesn't even work when set to defaults.

as for those outside binders, I can't stand them as I can never get them to accept multi button presses, I don't want keyboard emulation in a controller, I want actual controller gameplay.

Fair enough, T'was just a thought. Sorry it's borked for you.

Yeah, I've never really managed to get my Xbox pad set up how is like, either.

Actually I used to think STO and cryptic in general had a great dev team, that was until today. I've been an avid player of both STO and Champions for years, since the very beginning for CO.

And while they may still be some of the best devs out there they made an idiotic move by letting something like this happen, it's the very lack of controller support that made me give up on Neverwinter.

let me guess.. you're using x-padder or joy to key.. that isn't using a controller, it's tricking the computer into thinking the controller is a keyboard, big difference, and not as precise, or as versatile.

When I get home, I'll try my XBox USB gamepad controller and see if I get the same results.

Nope, using a wired Xbox 360 controller using the Windows drivers, plugged it in and it worked. Controller is working just like it did pre-S9.
