JHDC build advice.

Hi Captains.

I am absolutely loving my JHDC. She happily pulls 25k dps and I am sure I can squeeze more - much more with advice - out of her.

What I don't want to do:

I don't want to remove the 7 fleet polarons as I love the beam attacks. They work wonders with the slower turning rate of this behemoth.

I don't want to swap out the Elite Jem'Hadar attack ships, I really want to keep canon.

I'm looking to get weapon power from dipping so much, so very interested in which warp core can help this.

Am I missing anything that will keep weapon power higher? It is set to 125 at present and I believe there is an unseen over clock to power settings (not including cores that let us go higher than 125 - but not weapons).

Boffs:

Marion in combo with DEM which works wonders with FAW/BO
Two Very Rare Energy Weapon Boff - Beam cool down.
Two Very Rare Flight Deck Boff - Hanger Cool Down
One Very Rare Warp Core Engineer - Emergency power buff Power Lvls.

    Maybe invest in a plasmonic leech console. It gives a decent power boost across the board. Also for weapons I use a warp care that gives power boost to weapon based off shield power and use an energy doff that gives power to shield from energy attacks. A nice combo to boost weapons.

    I know you said you wanted all 7 polaron beams but replacing 1 with the KCB is really worth it IMO.

    One copy of aux2batt and 3 tech doffs is enough to keep your APO/APB and EPtX cycling and your RSP and DEM on global cooldown.

    As you have a JHDC and JHAS you should have no trouble getting things like Leech and Marion.

    I understand the KCB for the two set bonus proc for weapon power and resist. I have it and will try it though I hope the really awful, constantly droning and really loud sound effect it has has been redone. I haven't used it for that reason since it came out.

    I already have Marion Doff and his combined use with DEM is working for me.

    The plasmonic leech isn't something I have considered before but may give that a go.

    At the moment, I have the elite fleet warp core that adds flat bonus from Weapon power to Engines (I forget the name). I have heard good things about the Plasma Elite Fleet core that increases recharge rate of power and adds a percent increase of damage to powers of 75%. Does anyone have views on these two?

    MY advice would be to contact my freind loki in game @Stone_Loki, he has a cracking build for his, one that i am working my way towards, he utilises alot of fleet tac consoles aswell as a rather nice fleet warp core that makes his ship into an unstopable killer.

    Right, how is this for following advice.

    I am now the owner of the plasmonic leech console. I emailed my wife (who isn't a player of the game) and got her to dock my JHDC and wander to the DS9 exchange and buy one. I'm in a different continent to her at the moment and away from STO. She Skyped her progress and reported on the prices and availability, purchased and opened the item, leaving it in the inventory for me. She beamed back and there was no sign of 'Dianna Troi-ing' the ship into the nearest planet. I got an email at work from her saying 'I hope you enjoy your new Plasma Doodaa'.

    Now that is love. Not a word of anger, just 'Ok, what do I do?'

    Must bring her back something nice.

    It cost 23 million but considering EC is just stockpiling, I am happy.

    With 0 points in flow caps Leech will give you +8 power to all systems while firing at a target.

    With 9 points in flow caps that is doubled to +16.

    Well worth specing 9 points into flow cap, but you should be doing that already as you are using Polaron.

    A few updates to build. The Elite Plasma core with AMP is performing really well and replaced Attack Pattern Beta 3 with Omega 3.

    The Flowcap console is a fleet console that has flow caps, - Threat and + plasma damage

    Power Levels (sitting next to esd):
    Weapons: 100 (125)
    Shields: 40 (72)
    Engines: 35 (73)
    Aux: 25 (80)

    Doffs:
    2 x Hamlet -Conn Officer (reduced Tact Team Cool down so I only need 1 skill + boost to attack patterns)
    2 x Ten of Ten - Projectile Weapons Officer (Moar plasma balls of death in eSTFs)
    1 x Tulor - Energy Weapons Officer (more Beam Fire At Will) (might replace with another 10/10)

    Traits:
    Accurate, Efficient, Firearms specialist, Helmsman, Inspirational Leader, Lucky, Precise, Soldier, Warp Theorist

    My skills are also filled out

    Did Khitomer Elite and fried a cube in less than 10 seconds (punching all 3 dps boosters)
