Idea for Ground STF

Was playing through a new alt, and playing the Facility 4028 mission again, and realized that a Prison Break/Riot STF would be fun to play. Could have a few randomized miniboss encounters, and 1 randomized boss encounter. It wouldn't have to be Facility 4028, but could even be Rura Penthe, or some Romulan Prison, or a Prison of an alien species possibly yet encountered.

I thought WoW's forums had angry elitist snobs, but I never could have imagined the level STO forums has.:confused:

    Take out the word STF, replace by Fleet Action, add Dilithium in as a reward, give a good explanation as to how we end up in a prison riot that is getting the other guards off-guard (do we warp to that system, or are we conveniently visiting during a prison break), and you have my support.

    My second foundry mission involve a prison break. And I'm using the facility map.
    You don't really need a STF to enjoy that :)

    And if you wonder, the mission is not in English, so you will probably not be interested to play it.

    there are many cool foundry missions like this..
    unfortunately its hard to get people to play them because they dont give rewards like FA or STF.


    many players see foundry as a waste of time :(


    they really need to add something to foundry to get people to play it more.

    Unfortunately, everytime they do that, someone find a way to abuse the system, and they need to nerf it.

    That's why we can't have nice things I guess.


    But then, even the stf are not rewarding enough for a lot of them, and are not played.

    My use of the term STF only meant to imply a team action. And it could either be that your team has been summoned to contain a prison riot/escape attempt, or another thought would be that your team is imprisioned, and must escape, but yea the foundry is a great tool that always ends up exploited, and nerfed, and STF implies(unfortunately) that you are going to have to grind it to death for some sort of rep/reward, or it will have 0 queue and you'll never be able to try it(more likely since I suggested a ground scenario). I was just thinking running that mission how fun it would be to do something a little more extreme with a group, because so much of this game has become solo player, and if that's the route they want to go, then kill the "MMO" and give us LAN support.

    Here's my thoughts; have it a queued event and explain it as Isis sending out an emergency distress signal after it's defenses go offline during a riot.
    For some other prisons other than 4028, the guards get overpowered because of a weakness in patrols.
