  Hi,
  
  I did something similar last week on my fleet chimera. I set up like the Dyson ship, whereby one forward weapons arc had a Quad or DHC. It works really well actually and allows for the ship to tank a bit more with eng and sci abilities slotted.
  
  How are you liking your set up thus far? I'd try to get DEM II for that added punch.

  Its definitely better at tanking. perhaps ill try your cannon idea.

  I run all beam arrays on my Chimera to great effect. What kicked it over the top for me was an aux2batt build along with DEM and the Marion doff. Plus with access to the higher tac BO powers, it can dish out the damage. Really though, the Chimera is so flexible and middle of the road that it can work with a multitude of class/builds. :cool:
