Hi All

need some help getting a fleet avenger.

i have the c-store avenger and all the resources needed to get one from the fleet yard, however my fleet has not got a tier 4 ship yard yet.

is there a way to obtain this ship, someone in game suggested i join a raid channel. what is this and how do join it.

So my question is how do i get a fleet avenger without a tier 4 ship yard?

thanks for any suggestions/replies.

I think the sort answer is, you cant. Unless you leave your fleet, join another one with tier 4, buy the ship, leave that fleet and join yours again...

Most items from fleet stores can be bought simply by having someone in a more advanced fleet invite you to their starbase/embassy/whatever. Ships are harder because the shipyard always goes against your current fleet, not the one whose starbase you happen to be standing on. There are fleets which will allow you to temporarily join their fleet just long enough to buy your ship. They usually charge for this service since it will cost them a Provision. I'm not sure what the going rate for that is, but it's an option if you really wanted it.

At the very least, you can use the NoP Public Service channel. Hopefully, one of them will allow you to join long enough to get that ship.
I completed a 2-man CSE, ISE, and KASE, Optionals included. And I soloed Winter Invasion.

That right there. I've done it twice. Use chat settings to monitor the NoP channel. Quit your fleet. (Make sure there is a senior officer on that can invite you back after you've made your purchase). Type something in NoP chat along the lines of " Looking for T4 Fed shipyard to buy Fleet Avenger. Have FC's (Fleet Credits) and FM's (Fleet Modules)". Make sure you have Fleet Modules and the necessary Fleet Credits. FC's go with you when you quit your fleet.

Eventually, some kind hearted soul will invite you to their fleet and give you permission to buy the ship. Be generous and polite. Offer to make a generous energy credit donation to their fleet bank once you're in their shipyard. Don't say it in NoP chat. Both times I've done it, the donation was refused. Then go to their Fleet Bank and donate 5 million EC's anyways. It's the polite, generous and courteous thing to do. (And if you've looked at ship prices on the exchange, you know that 5 million is pocket change)

Now that you have your ship, say thank you to the nice person that invited you to their fleet, quit that fleet, rejoin your fleet and you're good to go.

There's a lot of generous fleets on the NoP channel and I got a Fleet Avenger and Ar'Kif that way.

The NoP channel rules pretty much explicitly state that donations are not allowed, at least not directly. Do not offer to provide one on channel, although you may want to do so as a courtesy once you're in the fleet for the purchase.

As a further note, saying thank you is VERY important. Someone on the channel was very upset that the person had taken the ship and run off without so much as a thank you and was disinclined to help anyone else who needed a shipyard. This is a very generous donation in general, and that bit of politeness can make all the difference for the next guy, and in expressing your gratitude.
