Hi
I'm looking to join a fleet, but I don't pvp. Willing to help as part of a team with normal missions. Engineering vice admiral. Willing to help with any fleet with a sensible name! Big or small, I don't mind. Been playing on and off for about a year, finally got the hang of it over the last couple of months!

Regards
Taya

ps - will need tutoring in chat and team stuff! Thanks

    Hey Tayalily!

Just to add to your list for consideration I'd like to offer an invitation to The Mak'Tar. We are based off the movie Galaxy Quest which is a Star Trek parody and a highly recommended film to watch.

We're a very laid back fleet that looks to offer a mature and relaxed environment with no drama for all our members. Communication is one of our biggest policies and we offer an open door policy to all members, so if you have a problem, suggestion or an idea to help the fleet improve in any aspect we are here to listen and help.

We run regular events for all our members and we're also getting ready to head into Star Citizen which is made by the creator of Wing Commander, Freelancer & Privateer. If you need to take a break we have a Shore Leave thread which you can post in and we'll add you to Risa Shore Leave until you get back.

We have members across the US, Canada, UK and the rest of Europe ranging from 18 to 50 years old. We also offer many fleet roles in the fleet if there is anything to your liking that you would like to take part in. Working together as a family/team is a big priority for us and of course having fun and a laugh in game/on Mumble!

Feel free to have a look at our website and hopefully you might find it's the place for you. We ask that all members be at least 18 years old and require the following from new Cadets:

Complete the application form to become a member.
Complete a 2-4 week probation as a Cadet.
Regular activity and register on our site / voice server.

Activity in this group is based on when you were last active on our voice server or forum.

Any questions, feel free to PM me.

    Never give up, never surrender!

    Fleet Admiral Nierion

From what you have said there are probably a number of fleets that will match your requirements, with that in mind is there anything you are particularly looking for or anything that would be nice but isn't essential?

It might help you narrow down your choices a little bit more.

For example are there any times of day you tend to play on? Or do you have any preferences as to fleet level/available fleet gear and ships?

Hey - just to add another to the bundle - The Borg Brigade is nice and laid back, have members always willing to help and chat away and we have a cracking bunch of members from all over (mainly US, UK, Canada, Australia...) and seem to power through things nice and quickly.

I hate going overboard with the hard sell - but if you want more info, give me a PM or hunt us down in game :)

That's a good point! I'm in the UK and tend to play late afternoon or evenings. It would be nice to have players online at these times. :)

Choosing the right fleet is not easy, you need to find one that matches your personality and shares your interests. Our fleet has a great wealth of knowledge and experience and great team players, mixed with just as much joking, pranksters, occasionally questionable fleet chat, sarcasm and general messing about. So if you're not thin skinned and you could be described as any of the above, come and join us!

Thanks for the response there Taya.

Obviously you want to join a fleet that is right for you and naturally a fleet will want to make sure you are right for them so the more each party can learn about the other the better :).

You might want to take a look at {UFP} to see whether or not you think we match up well against what it is you are looking for, based on what you have said I think we do but obviously you have the best idea of what it is you are looking for and are therefore best placed to make that determination.

Our website can be found HERE and our STO thread can be found HERE.
