Day of Honor--Flying the Spaceball One

My goodness, that was one loooooooong cutscene with the Bortasqu' "beauty shot." And just when the first view stopped, we get another one from the side. I was starting to get really irritated with it, and thinking it deserved the music from the opening of Spaceballs because of how dang long it was, but then the Moment of Genius happened.

The ship turned at the exact same angle as at the end of Spaceballs--a perfect homage to that sequence. I seriously expected it to say, "WE BRAKE FOR NOBODY" on the back of that thing.

    Exactly. That's what made me wonder even more. It seemed so appropriate for the Spaceballs...I mean Klingons.

    With a Bortasqu', you can't brake anyway. You have so much inertia, you'll slide for several kilometers.
    So it's kind of obvious you don't brake for anybody :D

    On a side note, you don't turn either.

    It would be awesome to hear from the devs about whether it was an intentional Spaceballs tribute...

    This also begs the question...what does it look like when the Bortasqu' goes to Ludicrous Speed?

    As long as the Bortas doesn't go from suck to blow. That would be bad.
