To the artists responsible for the ESD redesign: Would you please consider revamping the Fed ship interiors? The bridges are fine, but the Crew Deck and Engineering Deck coordors seem much too large. In viewing episodes of TNG and Voyager and TOS, the corridors of Federation ships were never 2x the max jump height of the tallest human. I completely appreciate the vast open spaces on Space Docks, etc., but is there any way to scale down the starship corridor sizes?
I have a good Trek fan friend who refuses to play until the corridor size issue is addressed, and I'd really like to teach him a lesson in PVP.

Is there any reasonable person in the forums that thinks cryptic should focus on important things first?? or i am so alone in this sea of kids?. WE are seeing the game dying day after day and you guys keep asking for new content and new graphic revamps. Sometimes i think people that ask for that is stupid. Well, if you guys want the game to die, yea thats the right way.
With respect,
1) The comment was specifically addressed to the art developers, who have nothing to do with the other issues in STO that must be fixed.
2) I'm not saying that new Fed ship interiors are necessarily a top priority. My primary interest is in advancing the story line and, ultimately, adding a fourth faction. Content/story is the most important game element to me. That said, if there is a team that works exclusively on graphics (I believe there is based on a previous post), why not ask them to work on ship interiors?
What do you see as the most important issues killing STO? My primary issue is more content and story, but Legacy of Romulus was a great first step in addressing that IMO, and Season 8 and 8.5 feature episodes were also nice to advance the maxed-out admiral.

It's pretty clear that the emphasis is on high-quality bridges that include all of the functions the full interiors have - namely, the doff contacts.
It's a controversial decision - I like the full interiors, too - but I think that ship has sailed.
What they need, though, is the time to make a quality product. otherwise, why bother?
We were lucky to get a revamp of ESD, because the environmental artists would have been idle while all other teams at Cryptic had stuff to do that didn't require any other work by Taco's team.
So they put the time they had to good use for the busiest player hub in game.
Next time this situation comes about I would expect DS9 to get a similar treatment as it is probably the next most requested map for such an endevour.
After that K7 and then... maybe... ship interiors.
OR
Someone at Cryptic comes up with monetized content that includes ship interiors. Then this project would get bumped up in priority, naturally.
Though I am gratefull they made the Origin bridge into the default bridge layout.
They build the bridge anyway for the tutorial, so they just had to hook it up and be done with it.
Though they could have added it as a Zen purchase, if they wanted to.
So thanks for not pulling the crappy move and just raing the quality of the base product instead.
That's almost funny, considering how much text has been used by various Devs explaining what a discarded dead-end ship interiors are. You find them a way to cash in (and selling bridge packs obviously doesn't count, else they'd still be adding them instead of explaining what a dead-end they are) and then there might be a snowball's chance in Hell of it happening.
But even then it's not real likely...considering the Klingon/Fed interiors were comically oversized to allow for ground combat in ship interiors and that ship sailed with Romulan interiors being closer to proper scale as interior combat is tossed by the wayside.
Don't even waste the time, says I.
Suggestion: don't hold your breath.
