Game crashes at loading screen.

Ever since the patch last Thursday, the 27, I have been unable to get into STO or any of the other PWE games.
On Friday-Saturday the launcher would not load/ was frozen and would not patch/switch from patch to play. On Sunday the launcher finally booted up enough that I was able to log in and verify all of the files in both STO and Neverwinter.
However, once all the files were verified and I was able to engage, I received the following message;
Fatal Error: File read from disk has bad CRC. Verifying Files in the launcher may fix this issue:20

Also, should the game receive a fatal error and crash me back to the desktop, the launcher will refuse to patch/ switch to "engage" and I am stuck until I restart my computer.
