Unsold Exchange items

I recently received an in-game email informing me that an item I had for sale in The Exchange was unsold and was being returned to me however I looked but couldn't find it anywhere so took it to be a bug and forgot about it.

I've now had the same message for a second unsold item and again the item is no-where to be found, not in my inventory or the bank.

When unsold items are returned to you from The Exchange where does the game put them please?

to pick up unsold items, you need to open the message at a mail terminal. These are usually located next to the bank.

HI first you need open near a terminal mail, if the is not there, maybe in your overbag bank... if the item isn't in any of that places... is a bug

Ah ok I always wondered why they had those mail terminals when you can already read and reply to messages in your character interface, thanks guys :)

Mail terminals are required to send or accept attached objects. The in-story explanation for them is that they have transporters built into them to transmit the item.

Oh god.. i have a couple of items i thought i just lost in the obvlivion ages ago .. now i discover they are in the mail system?? lol. Never thought on that, but well since cryptic never explains anything lol.

But this is something that changed in one of the last patches after LOR, since time ago everything i coudnt sell in the exchange was returning to me without the need to visit any mail terminal.

I always had to get it from a mailterminal, and I've been playing as of S6.

    Nerf is OP, plz nerf
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

But it is a MAGIC transporter that cannot send the items to your ship.

Hmm, so I should be able to mail myself to another planet if my transwarp is down.

I swear that in the past, i NEVER visited a mail terminal to receive my un-sold items. NEVER. In fact, i think i never visited a mail terminal in my life. And i sold and recovered a lot of items from the exchange.

So, i dont have a clue, but i will not be surprised if this is another glitch.

And this has always been the case, and I've been playing since the last 2 weeks of the Open Beta...

Yeah, but if you deleted the messages, then you can't get your items. At least I can't. I was also wondering where my items went until I read it somewhere in the forum (can't remember on this forum or another).

No. Im really tired of selling things in the exchange and receive the un-sold message and collect my unsold items from there. At least in the past. Im pretty sure of it. It worked that way for me. Maybe things changed. Or maybe it has domething to do with selling things through the freighter or in any place or whatever. I dont know. But im sure i never needed the mail station in my life to recover unsold items.

Same here, because I deleted the mails when I originally read them I've now lost the items for good but at least I know now how to get them next time :)
