I wouldn't say that. The previous trait was flat-out worthless for people who never fight the Borg. It was just really really really nice for those of us who do the occasional ground STF.

I'm OK with it being changed to a universally applicable trait, if that change is accompanied by something else that accomplishes the goal of the original trait. I'd like them to reevaluate the entire adaptation/remodulation mechanic. Or let us buy a device early in the rep to provide slower adaptation or fast remodulation.

Honestly I never even bothered with ground until I got the MArk XII ground set for it.

    Instant remodulation is pretty nice.

    Okay, partway though Fluid Dynamics...

    1) I hate Fluidic Space.

    2) I'm guessing that this is not fully complete as Tuvok and Dr. Cooper show up, but Cooper uses voice clips from "A Step Between Stars" and Tuvok isn't voiced.

    3) This REALLY answers a few questions about the Undine's involvement with the game AND gives us an idea about Cooper.

I was "ordering" you around, eh? Funny, because that wasn't what I was doing at all. Perhaps you should not take my suggestions as ordering you around (by the way, this last part is a suggestion)...

Destroyable torpedoes are destroyed by the maw weak point in vicious cycle before they detonate.

Is this a bug, or a feature?

They also dont work for planet killers.

Otherwise, Vicious Cycle is very well done. It is hard, challenging, and the artwork is very beautiful.

I take it "State of Q" will be returning right? Geko mentioned on a podcast not long ago about wanting to have an authentic mid-24 century interior for that mission, so I hope that is going to happen.

I really hope that state of Q is only gone temporarily so it can be revamped or something.

I always considered it one of the more memorable missions in the game and I hope it comes back in some form.
It's not my fault if you feel trolled by my Disco ball... Sorry'boutit.

Okay, found a bug with Fluid Dynamics. Once you do all of the mission requirements and Tuvok says his little bit, you leave the mission, yet once you get to Sector Space, it won't register. Both the "Ops" option and the Warp option do the same thing.

Loving the changes for the Romulan and Reman sets.

Still think the Reputation system should have 8 and 8 traits. Will try it out though.

On the subject of the costumes, can you devs make it possible for my purchased on holodeck costumes to properly port over. I can't use the tailor at all without discarding my bought and paid for Jupiter uniform. And Seven of Nine uniform. And TOS uniforms...etc.

That said thanks for the new customization features and expanding the ethnic diversity of humanoids everywhere :D

And once again I seem weird. Am I the only person that hated State of Q? I know Q introduced us to the Borg properly and all, but I didn't need his son dropping in to aggravate me in the middle of a battle with the Borg.

It was a great choice, That proc is absolutely useless if you're not facing the Borg. Now it's great in all situations.

But if you were facing the borg, it was priceless. Now my gun needs remodulation evry 10 seconds.

But the new rep redesign is perfect for an ability like that. I opted not to take the trait originally, and almost regretted it since I've since started to really enjoy ground. With this revamp I could slot it while fighting borg, then use something else when fighting anyone else. It's a shame that won't be a posibility now.

To be fair, though, the 3 piece remodulation from the MACO/HG sets is pretty friggin' good already. Enough that I don't need the trait.

State of Q was awesome  I'm assuming you have removed it because you're re-doing it with Avery Brookes voice over..? If not I will miss that episode :(

I miss State of Q too.

    So far:

Viscous cycle: Very fun, challanging, great.

BUG! -High yields die for no reason when flying towards planet killers under contruction or weak points.

Battlezone: I feel that the Undine try to recapture the zones a bit too fast.

The planet killer reward is way too low. 90 Dilithium? The fight actually much harder than the Voth Trex fight, and should reward 25 undine marks and 480 dilithium at least.

Undine: I feel that their Elachi like teleporting is super annoying, and their Grav wells are inescapable. I think the grav wells need a bit of a toning down.

I could not escape them with engine battery+Evasive manoevers.

    Reputations:

Well the pickle..... 4 is a bit too limiting.

However, the overall rep cost is cheaper, and we get some very nice items in new boxes.

While this makes doing full reputations not really needed, this also makes reputating grinding much faster. Some of the items that drop would cost you a LOT of dil on the holodeck.

Honestly, I spent months of effort grinding out now useless stuff. That's bad.

A few suggestions for the Rep system:

-Make all the powers either really doubled (like Romulan lethality to 6% and not 5% ), or please give us some more slots.

    - Please add back in Anti Borg Pulsewave assaults, and Anti borg Space Antiproton weapons.

-Please reconsider upping the number or passive slots to 6-6 and not 4-4.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

Well, the adjustments to all the reputation sets, specially the Romulan/Reman ones being interchangable is a good step forward. Now the only sets left out are the Aegis and Breen sets.

If someone blows trough the new rep, can you post the details on the Undine shield/engine/deflector. I'm particularly interested in the shield stats.

    ^This.

I know it's useless when the player have a full maco or ad maco set,but for those who prefer other ground set this is what allows us to fight in the way we want to. Why removing it from the pick list? People who don't like this passive skill can simply ignore it and pick the others.

Ok, so running the story missions and here's my feed back.

Fluidic Dynamics doesn't end properly. Its bugged. Please fix ASAP.

    * Love the revamped story for what was "The Return"

    * Hate that the Obex's appearance & one liner of awesome has been removed.

    * Removal of State of Q is much dissapoint.

    * Love that the Iconian influence on the Undine is no longer stupid. Won't spoil it for people, but its a nice change up.

    * Dr. Cooper is now a recurring character? Ye gods, Dave Rivas must be jumping for joy.

    Undine Plantery assault NORMAL:

This map is hard. This map takes an hour to do, gives 18 marks, and is harder than into the hive elite.

I like a challange, but for normal this needs a lot of toning down. The planet killer's Health is ludicrous, it soaks up more damage on normal than an entire borg stf does on elite.

    Undine teleport around too fast.

    The grav wells are inescapable.

    They spawn behind you.

This whole mission needs re-thinking. It needs to be doable for people NOT running A2B scimitars with beam arrays and fire at wills.

As of now, this mission punishes torpedo and cannon users so hard its not even funny.

As good vicious cycle is, this is as bad. Please fix.

Ditto on "Fluid Dynamics" not completing properly. And I'm stuck in "Assimilation". The Fully Assimilated Undine never spawns. So I can't advance and complete the mission. It's happened twice in a row.

No doubt we'll see John de Lancie in the game eventually so then we won't have q Jr anymore.

I doubt that, sadly. I meet him at a convention back in February and he stated he wasn't interested in doing anymore Star Trek related stuff.

Wow, just when you thought the grind couldn't get any worse, it does. By the way, that's where the new Undine shield comes in, it drains their weapons power so they hit you less hard.

They're still tweaking it. At least I HOPE so. If they don't, I'm sticking with the battlefield. THAT was fun, even in my Fleet Dreadnought.
