  Its called PublicEliteSTF. Mostly used for Space STF's though. I tried to get people to teach me ground STF's (figured after 2 years its about getting time), got only one response though. Still, that response is going to get me into ground STF's some day!
  
  Might simply be that people were not waiting for a newb in their team. And honestly, can't blaim them.

  There are other channels they are often invite only and are made up of some excellent players, the best way to start off though is with PublicEliteSTF. If you're really good someone in there will notice you and invite you to one of the more exclusive channels.
