Mirror Event

Howdy fellow captains, I've been in the hospital for a little over a week, nothing serious I hope, but because of this I have been unable to participate in the mirror event and those rewards are looking mighty fine. I can't find it on the facebook of STO and I just want to know when the event will be ending and if I miss it, if there will be a way to get the transponders or what ever they are, like buying them with lobis or what ever, I'm not too rich with lobis at the moment but, what ever.

    They're event ONLY. Lobi can't buy them. If you start now, you won't finish it.
    My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

    Presumably the event will return from time to time like the Crystalline Entity did, you could get yourself a head start for next time. The event was extended through April 7, but that still doesn't quite give you time to finish. All it gets you is a haul of marks and dil, and a novelty Doff though. It's not like they gave away a ship or anything major.

    yeah but it's marks and dilithium I would rather not grind, I started yesterday on my friend's laptop, so, it looks like I'm not gonna make it this time around

    well the shards from the CE event got reused so... who knows?

    The event is likely to be repeated, but not necessarily with the same reward. I would recommend starting the project and filling it up as much as you can. You will be able to finish it next time and if there is a new, different version there may still be time to finish that one as well. This is what happened with the Crystal Entity event last year.

    The event rep is pretty much designed to be used this way, there are now 5 slots so you could have many half-finished projects waiting for re-runs.

    I dont know what the hell they done in this patch today but they have really messed up the mirror event.

    Ive not had 1 game today where the station wasnt disabled, there are just way too many portals spawning and way too many ships coming out.

    Lol patch for rifts oke, but not the hugh spwan of ships that come with it.

    Spawn time of ships need to be larger.

    Or get the timing for rifts spawns right next time

    I dunno. Um to me, 50,000 dilithium IS a free ship :)
    Plus tons of marks...and a purple DOFF?

    While I am not a fan of grind, I understand how current end game mechanics work by necessity so I accept it. And 14 days of a 15 minute mission isn't that awful.

    I feel for the OP though...my Tac Fed finally hit 50 after 4 years....yesterday. :)

    What exchange rate you basing that off.
