Taking my first shot with the Vesta. I'm not a huge fan of the ship, but I wanted to use it for *something* so it didnt go to waste in my ship list. I decided to use Romulan rep gear, since I have T5 Rommy Rep and might as well make use of it.

Its built towards combination crowd control and AoE damage res rebuffing. Anyone got any improvements that don't involve changing the weapons/set/hanger? Thanks in advance!

    Looks like a solid build.

I'd go for an RSP1, although if it works without it, i'd leave it (actually depends on the content you're playing)

Im on my phone n accademy did not fully load. So here goes i use the fleet yellowstones for added CC + there can take more dmg then most pets. I dont see why ur useing 4 shield emitter consoles swap them for other things the vesta does not need them. I have none n can sit n kill a negh in ESTF with my vesta. Ive put the vesta 3 packs consoles in its sci slots plus i have the dyson rep console and its torp its op with GW3.

Looks good. Personally I'd add the Romulan weapon set (torp, experimental beam array and the console) since they buff plasma and the engine/shield/deflector buffs plasma torps

Yeah, the 2-Set is definitely worth it, the Beam array is nice, the console is good as well and the set bonus is worth it. I'd recommend to leave the torp though. Torps are just generally bad for Damage output and i'd actually only use one for the plasma burn in certain builds...

What is the actual problem you have, because the build looks pretty solid imo.

Solid pve build! Not sure on your doffs but if you use a couple of deflector officers you could maybe swap gw1 for es2. Like others have said zero point plus experimental would be nice. Maybe swap out a neut or gen for it.

If you look closely, the Emitter Arrays are actually Embassay consoles (there was just no option in Academy for Embassay consoles); each adds Partgens and Plasma Damage.

Good call on the Romulan two set. I'll add the Zero-Point Conduit in there someplace, probably in place of a Neutronium Alloy. Not sure how I feel about the Romulan Hyper Torpedo.

I'm confused by the sci consoles. I understand they are plasma consoles, but are they emitter arrays or particle generators? They cannot be both. I would have chosen Particle Generators, as it seems like you are going for DPS. Heals can be useful, as well, and if you are dead set against upgrading the set to Borg 12... they might save your bacon. You may even consider swaping in a +hull heal console to replace a +plasma. The Vesta is squishy, doubly so the way you are running her with low heals and no get-out-of-jail-free 3pc console bonus and healing aura.

I am assuming you have Damage Control Engineer doffs. Personally, I would swap your EP2* skills around and take EP2W2, but again, I run Borg 12 it covers a lot of my healing needs, perhaps running the Romulan set you will get more mileage out of EP2S2.

Other then that, it seems fairly solid for a "I have limited doffs and I need a solid, if not flashy build to get started."

That Romluan set tho... And a Vesta has such a low hull... You have a pair of solid rock... I'll give you that... Good luck to you...
I once again match my character. Behold the power of PINK!
