Crazy Stuttering/low FPS issue

i don't even know how to properly report this particular bug since its so random but, my FPS keeps dropping to 6-8 in tribble, no matter what area, at rather random intervals, also at random durations.

this tends to happen more often than not at new ESD, especially near the "waterfall" at the entrance of the area where admiral quinn is(i don't know if its just a coincidence or not).

otherwise my FPS stays at the very worst by 35-45 FPS at the very max settings.

i'm on a Q9400 2.6Ghz intel quad-core, 4GB ram and HD 5770 radeon, and my driver is updated.

also i don't have this bug on holodeck, only on tribble.

    Actually i saw the same thing this morning running thru the Romulan tutorial. Severe lag in the fight with the Tal Shiar ground troops. Space combat worked fine however.

    I logged into the Holodeck but did not see the same performance hit.
    Proud to be a Lifer.
    I earned my 1000 days the hard way and I still come back...
