Scheduled Maintenance (March 27, 2014) [Complete!]

Hailing all Captains,

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tomorrow, Thursday, March 27th, at 7AM PDT (click here to view in your timezone) for our weekly scheduled maintenance and to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found here, and we expect this maintenance to last for 2.5 hours. The test server, launcher and access to manage your account may also be unavailable during some portions of the maintenance.

    Also good show on fixing the portals in mirror. 5 minutes of downtime = no fun

    Hey, you could go for a smoke - make a sandwich - take a micronap...it was amazing all the things you could find to do in that 4-5 minutes. :P

    edit: And oh, does that also mean no more Intimidating Strikes from the plink plink gun of the Bio-Neural?

    I guess those who were exploiting the carrier pet bug dont want to come in here and rage about it for fear of being exposed, lolz.

    They could be upset by the trait changes there's only so much complaining a person can do before they tire out, I should know.

    Now on topic. Happy to see the change with the rifts, floating around for a few minutes was just no fun.

    My only rage is for the rat that exposed it, but knew it wouldn't last so can't really rage at them for fixing what was obviously a bug.

    That's an interesting attitude to take toward folks reporting bugs...not many people would have the honesty to so blatantly profess they prefer being able to exploit bugs and will rage against any that report bugs. Interesting...

    Oh, I don't know where you got that quote from...I never said that! ;)

    Heh, it's actually come up in multiple threads...because it's one of those things that gets fixed and comes back. STO doesn't have bugs, STO's got weeds. :D

    Huh, never noticed that carrier bug. Then again, the only carrier that I regularly fly is the Obelisk on my Gorn, and that thing's so clunky that I gave up and switched back to a RA Vor'cha out of sheer desperation.

    I think I'm going to miss the Known Bugs having 'Some Klingon captains can't change their undies' listed there. It used to be such fun seeing folks faux-freak about it.

    I thought they had fixed the "Powers granted by a space set are not remembered in the power tray when using the loadouts feature" bug ? , or is that just on tribble ?

    Well, there is no rage about hanger pets still being broken so.... I don't know. Maybe the vast majority of carrier owners are just too casual to care about such things.

    Well, it isn't very noticeable for most players, i guess. I only found out from the forum thread. Funny thing was that it never seemed to last as long as the parent buff - it only stacked for the first second or two.

    Resolved an issue where some portals were not respawning.

    - This was causing there to be nothing to do for the last couple minutes of the match for extremely powerful players.

    This is the kind of recognition i always strived for. Thank you very much. ( :D :P )

    is there any problems with the game as unable to login and it happened while i was playing a mission on a new character that i am trying to lvl i have got back into STO but cant login to CO now what is happening

    Again STO lags out and stops responding even before the patch. Looks like you have another network issue.
