Is Redshirt suppose to crash?

Today, when doing the initial patch for Redshirt, it said that my Cryptic crashed? Has anyone else seen this? If not, how can it be fixed?

    I think I'll stick to Tribble and Holodeck.

    Of course it's not supposed to crash. Why the hell would Cryptic deploy a patch that deliberately crashes the game?

    These things just happen sometimes, especially on alpha-test servers like Redshirt. They'll fix it in due course.

    There used to be a picture here, but they changed signatures and I can't be bothered to replace it.

    My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

    I think that rather than call it a crash, since it is a test server, it could be called a Preemptive Unplanned Service Shutout (PUSS).

    Really both. But it's the typo that stood out. I'm a total grammar TRIBBLE.

    It's called Red shirt... IT's meant to test out the waters and die, so Holodeck can live.
