I mean seriously? We were all doing something, then BAM! Server outage! And I was having fun when it went down. And it went down on FRIDAY! But now it went out today. I know that they are trying to get STO back up; but, is anyone else disturbed by this?
Why be disturbed. In IT, stuff happens. Considering downtime costs them (aka Cryptic/PWE) money in lost Zen sales); they're probably more disturbed by this then we are. In the end, they isolate and fix the issue, and access to the STO server will be restored. And in the future, something unexpected will happen and it'll be down again. Nothing to really get disturbed over as in the end, it's just a game.

Real space weapons would be something like ball bearings fired from a rail gun, cheap and effective or even a nice fat nuke.
