So following up on the "what is your favorite map" question, here is the next in the series.
Who is your favorite character from among those you have created for Foundry missions?
Mine would have to be Colonel Matthew Stafford from my Mirror Universe mission "Over There." I wanted to create a complex villain who even though he is ruthless, he is the hero of his own story and feels he is doing the best thing he can for his people. I liked him so much I made a player character based on him and made a mission to explore who his counterpart is in our universe. I plan to bring him back
(And no he has no relation to the NFL quarterback. I used a town in Kansas for his last name and randomly picked a first name that sounded good).
Mine would be Jack, also a mirror universe character from my 5 part arc. He is a genius, cruel, and totally mad but he had his reasons. I had lots of fun writing him.
I've only made three missions so far and they are all the Uprising series so I don't have a wide array of characters to choose from but I really like the villain Jok'lava and the two Starfleet Intelligence officers assigned to assist you Captain Nathaniel Hunter and Commander Lauren Carson.
Jok'lava's backstory is that he was a peaceful man and high-ranking official in his homeworld's defense force. Due to events that happened, he became anything but peaceful. I'm trying to not give spoilers away, but I tried to create him to be a villain that you can almost sympathize with. He is convinced he is doing the right thing for his people despite its costs. I would love to explore his backstory in the future with perhaps a prequel that has you tagging along and getting to know him and see what he was like before the events that led to the Uprising series.
As far as Hunter and Carson, they are meant to basically be CIA field agents of modern day. Both are veterans have been in crazy situations, black ops, and undercover missions in the past. They are formidable but much of their backstories remain unclear because there is simply no need to delve into them during the Uprising series. Perhaps I can do a prequel mission for them or even a spinoff series involving them.
But right now, my focus is on working on the final installment of Uprising to give closure to the whole storyline. I want to make more missions in the future but I haven't decided what they will involve yet.

Enliss, a Vorta security/engineer that you meet in Diplomacy in the Gamma Quadrant. I had fun writing someone as arrogant and overtly hostile.
Liojor, the Boslic commander of the Beta Rana station. I thought it was fun writing someone to have that sort of apathy toward the player. Unfortunately that mission is down due to technical issues.
Supervising Agent Grell. With him I basically researched Luther Sloan, including watching all his episodes, and then wrote the exact opposite character. Grell's upbeat, snarky, and a Ferengi.
Admiral Amnell Kree. Hardass Dominion War vet who brooks no fools, very military character. And I love the way the look turned out: that iron-gray color for her hair really makes her look distinguished.

Definitely Black Snow. (The link is to my costume-sharing post, so if anyone else needs a Starfleet Intelligence agent who's a powerful telepath and can pass as a Romulan...)
Federation: Yeoman Matthews for my upcoming DS9/TOS crossover mission. The player's long suffering assistant who the player never remembers and often has the information the player needs that could have avoided many of the conflicts they go through (simply because the player forgets they have a Yeoman)
KDF: Besides S'taass (who I didn't create), I really loved getting to write Niaru Urwau, his adopted daughter.
Mine would be Jack, also a mirror universe character from my 5 part arc. He is a genius, cruel, and totally mad but he had his reasons. I had lots of fun writing him.
Is he supposed to be the mirror of the latter-day Augment named Jack from a couple of DS9 episodes?
For my latest project (B&S II is on hold at the moment), I just built a couple new ones that I'm quite proud of.
Rear Admiral Fallora, Xindi-Primate Starfleet Science admiral organizing an expedition into the Delta Quadrant through the hole the Undine blew into the Jenolan sphere.
Lord General Deralax, the senior surviving flag officer of the Krenim Imperial Legions and leader of the Krenim Remnant Fleet, after the Borg got through with the Imperium. Couldn't quite get the rubber forehead right, though, since we don't access to the nodules they've got at their temples.

Just a nitpick here, you may outrank Kaol, but he's the head of the Dyson Task Force. That makes him your boss under military protocol. Just saying, he can't be under insubordination when you're under his command. (And yes, this does happen in real life. Chain of Command has some knots in it). /Off Topic Offline
In seriousness, I'm loving seeing all these characters. Part of me wants us to make a crossover with them now.

Not so much. Our ships are independent commands along the lines of the Enterprise, and I am volunteering my time to the task force and doing whatever task I feel needs doing at my sole discretion. I am decidedly not part of the regular Dyson task force, i.e. Kaol's command, because I can go do something else whenever I please. The regular Dyson task force is stuck there for the duration.
In any case I'm mostly talking about him not addressing me with the respect due my rank, which happens to be four pay grades above his measly O-5. And Dyson Joint Command should be an O-8's billet at least anyway.

INCORRECT! Yes your ship is an independant command. But when you volunteer to assist a joint task force, you fall under command of said task force's leadership. Which is Kaol.
As far as not mentioning you by rank. One: Klinks dont have Admiral ranks so the generic Admiral dialogue wouldn't work for them. Two: Doing specific ranks would require more acting and if they ever raise the level cap, they'd have to revoice it for the new ranks + making sure it actually works. Which goes back again to Klingons being Generals vs. Admirals - That tech needs to be there for them anyways or duplicate the mission for essentially a small bit of dialogue which takes up computing space.
Lastly, stop referring to ranks via pay grades. (1) Starfleet doesnt have paygrades. (2) Thats a US military thing, not a Star Trek thing. Star Trek is Mildly Military. Please remember this fact. (3) How many Admirals does the Republic have. Its basically Kerekek and you. That's about it! And they've got to run DJC because their the neutral party in the KDF-FED War (otherwise you'd have rogue Klingons killing Starfleet ships assisting them).
No. It's an idiomatic synonym that provides convenient shorthand, and Starfleet borrows a great deal of its organizational structure from the US Navy.
(1) Starfleet doesnt have paygrades.
You can stop bringing that up right now because the franchise has never been consistent on whether the Federation uses money, so any arguments that "the Federation doesn't use money" are automatically bull. Ref: Bank of Bolias on a Federation member planet, any number of references to Federation credits, etc.
The sole consistent thing about the whole mess is that humans from Earth don't use money.
(2) Thats a US military thing, not a Star Trek thing. Star Trek is Mildly Military. Please remember this fact.
They are a military whether they like it or not, because they match the definition of one.
I am now going to write in a reference to pay grades just to TRIBBLE you off personally.
(3) How many Admirals does the Republic have. Its basically Kerekek and you. That's about it! And they've got to run DJC because their the neutral party in the KDF-FED War (otherwise you'd have rogue Klingons killing Starfleet ships assisting them).
So offer the job to a demonstrably competent warbird CO with commensurate increase in rank.

I've had a few mails from people asking me to expand on her personality, history and so on.

No, totally different person. Even if I had thought of that, I would be unable to use his likeness because of the legal restrictions.

I also built a pretty good approximation of Subcommander Kaol pretty much so I can yell at him for being insubordinate in "A Step Between Stars". Now if only we had the actual uniform.
