Largest Fleets in STO

I was told by a fleet admiral there is a listing of the top 10-15 fleets size wise in the game. He said STO kept track of such things. Also was told it could be found in the forum.
However I have been unable to find this listing despite using different search parameters. Despite my best efforts , I could not find any info that was more current than 2010.

Is anyone else aware of this listing? or where it is located? I would very much appreciate a link to it , if you know where it is listed. Thanks :confused:

    Vice Squad isnt on there, nor is House of Tlhap-Jen

    VS is completely done with all special stuff

    HoTJ is 48 hours away from completing the final spire upgrade O_o with everything else done (i think we have to do the tailor unlock, but thats really minor compared to the rest)

    Both fleets are at member cap with nearly monthly prunings of inactive members, and we have several overflow fleets for alts and fleet credit grinding.

    Edit to add: I guess House is >_> lemme alone its 1am. kthx, But vice squad isnt. lolz

    Glad to see KI there as thats my klingon fleet but knew Gamma Sigma command will not show not even sure if it will be in the top 5000

    Well, since this thread is here, may as well put it out there, if anyone can alter that page or otherwise pass it along to someone who can, my fleet can be added to that list:

    Sentinels of Freedom (fed) tier 5 Industrial Fabricator
    Sentinels of War (KDF) tier 5 Shipyards

    Unless there is something else I need to do.

    The list above is the "most likely" top 10...

    Quite simply, the ones updating that list have no way of confirming that it is in fact the true list.

    The reason for this, is that cryptic does not release the actual numbers to the players.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    Well, the page claims to update every week. Maybe it's in the que? And besides, said fleets that you know of might not want aforementioned information to be made public.

    the list above is well out of date. once the first handful of fed fleets hit t5 the page caretaker lost interest. it took quite a bit of effort for us to even get hobo listed at all, despite being the kdfs first (and at the time, its only) t5 fleet.

    so while that is an old list of t5 fleets, it is far from complete.

    so it would appear nobody else knows the whereabouts of such a list.. In other words I was told a bunch of BS :mad:

    It's an issue that user created/supported pages run into, rather than those that are procedurally generated using fleet statistics... I'm not sure if Cryptic would want to officially support such a feature.

    Nova Core should be on the list for everything being completed.

    If anyone will ever update that page, please add Fubar Inc and Crimson Fubar Inc to the list of fully completed bases/holdings (both are lv20 with completed spire/mine/embassy). Only type of projects that will ever run in those fleets is provisioning.

    Look... "Updated Weekly" in STOwiki terms means "untill I get bored with it".

    STOWiki hasn't been reliable in at least a year...

    True. Most of the "upcoming content" is based on complete rumours. LOTS of people just ditch pages, this is a prime example.

    No... it wasn't...

    The problem is, that way too many people here believe rumors, and consider anything said in a podcast to be true and upcoming.

    It's been proven again and again, that using a gaming forums is a... bad way to get information on what is upcoming and what is not...

    And Just like that, when people can make up numbers (wich we know is the case, since cryptic dosen't release numbers), to create a fictional list of "top fleets".

    I would even go as far as to claim that the list linked above has never been accurate... not even the day it was released.

    I'd have it set up so there is a index of all fleets with an updated screenshot of their fleet rank/lvl/holdings or a link to the fleet's Gateway page.

    This creates a big picture problem since Cryptic links the official wiki through the official site here. Which means there's the illusion of it being a byproduct of Cryptic's own work.

    So the caretaking of the wiki should either switch to Cryptic and they hire some people to get it up to date and official, or the wiki should be dumped from the STO site.

    I know neither will happen. But yeah, more problems like this are bound to crop up because of that.
