coming soon day of honor????

isn't the day of Honor coming soon? I wonder how that they can turn it into a grind? or will it just beforgotten?

    the day of Honor is in STO and no it is not a grind and you get a cool goodie for participating in it

    Yeah if they use the mission from last year, you can breeze through it in five min.

    I know it used to be in the game, what I was saying is how will they turn it into a grind? if you remember anniversary didn't used to be a grind either and we all know what they did to it this year.

    This event is only around for 4 days.

    The only grinding you'll have to do is to talk to the Flagship crews.

    Yeah will be like last year, it was good to see the kdf faction out in force with their rare bat'leth's! ( side note: will the romulans be getting an independence day? ).

    The bat'leth is quite nice, especially for bat'leth collectors like myself. The Shard Sword of Kahless however, is the best bat'leth in the game IMHO.

    I really hope the add a romulan version of day of honor/first contact day and don't just have romulans doing their allies mission.

    I dunno if I would call it the best in the game, but it is the best free Bat'leth at least.

    That aside, the unique feature of the bat'leth from the Day of Honor from last year is that is has a physical DoT proc on it, like Elite Bat'leths do from a KDF SB.

    Hopefully it isn't turned into another grind-event though.

    With D'Angelo in charge I wouldn't be surprised if some grind creeps in. I hope not but I don't hold out hope that it will be the same as the last couple of years either.

    Indeed. Knowing Cryptic/PWE, you'll need to grind, like, "honour packages', and you'll need 6 to unlock some Bat'leth, then there'll be a Lobi/C-Store version. *sigh*

    I won't do it. So tired of the grind heavy events lately.

    If so sad it's probably going to be true. Unless the melee weapon on offer was a Mek'leth and I'd be all over it.

    it just getting really close to time for it again and no word about it and its not on the event calendar either. im thinking they forgot about it . and if that's the case we have a good chance of a repeat from last year when they remember it. but I wouldn't be surprised to see it turned into a 3 of 4 day grind of some sort. like to possibly collect parts from a mission that is time gated. then take those parts to the forge and turn them in for a weapon.

    Probably. I'm guessing we'll do some "repeteable quest" to grind 12 Tritanium pieces. When you finish, you get a tritanium Bat'leth, with a C-Store version coming out. FEDs will get another OP gimmick of course.
